Today we shout out Mikenzi Barrow! Mikenzi made her amazing entrance on the MPHS Theatre stage her first year at Myers Park. Her work in our production of The Diviners was loved by both the production and audience members. She is also a member of our ITS troupe 780. Today we shout out Mika Travis! Although Mika didn’t join our MPHS Theatre program until her senior year, she has been a constant joy in our Theatre classroom. We loved working with Mika during our rehearsals for Working and wished we could have had more time with her. Today we shout out Marin Blake! Marin first joined MPHS Theatre in our production of Catch Me If You Can as one of our flight attendants. She continued on as Ted and one of our perfect Pick-a-little ladies in addition to her other memorable rolls. Marin is also a member of our ITS troupe 780. Today we shout out Grace Serdula! Grace joined the theatre program as one of our stage managers for Peter and the Starcatcher before sharing her amazing talent as an artist with the theatre program. Grace has provided us with incredible posters for each of our productions over the past two years as well as promo videos that highlight all of the work that goes into a show. She kept us organized and running with each show she stage managed. Grace is also a member of our ITS troupe 780. We will miss you Grace!

Today we shout out Charlie Sellers! Charlie made his debut in the MPHS Theatre program with another memorable audition as he climbed on stage singing a song from Lion King. His unbelievable commitment will always be remembered when it comes to line memorization and of course no one could forget the Hawaiiain shirts. With characters like Buddy, Harold Hill, and Butch he always kept the audience entertained. Charlie’s is also a member of our ITS troupe 780. Today we shout out Aubrey Cox! Aubrey joined MPHS Theatre his freshman year after sending in an iconic recording for his Catch Me If You Can audition. This landed him a role as one of the detectives and ever since then Aubrey has been bringing smiles to everyone in MPHS Theatre. From serenading us as a mermaid to trying to find love by seducing Stephanie he has kept our audiences laughing. Today we shout out Abby Goretsky! Abby joined MPHS Theatre her freshman year, making her debut in Catch Me If You Can. Abby has participated in productions as an actor and helped keep us together backstage as a stage manager. She has helped out countless times with MPHS Tech events and by volunteering for projects in the auditorium...those twinkle lights are gone but not forgotten.
