🧡God really poured out the blessings this year! I am so grateful for all the love I’ve gotten to capture and the opportunities to meet such wonderful couples! Thank you to every single person who trusts me to capture such a monumental time in your life.

I thank God every day for the opportunity to do what I do. Taking photos and travelling is fun but it’s the connections I make and the clients that turn into friends that really sets my soul on fire. I can’t wait to see what 2023 holds!

These have quickly become one of my favorite photographs to capture at a wedding…I think the photo itself is beautiful, but what I love more is the moment. It’s the first time the couple gets to take a step back from the party, the formalities, sometimes the crazy… and just be. Together.

Have you thought about scheduling time for just you and your partner on the day you get married? Most overlook this very crucial detail when it comes to their big day. It's good to plan breathing room in your schedule to really soak in the moment. I can't tell you how many big weddings I've photographed where by the end of the day the bride and groom hardly remember anything because it was all a non stop whirlwind. Five minutes here, ten minutes there, it will make a huge difference.

Nervous about how to pose during your photoshoot?

No worries! 😊

My #1 goal during any photoshoot is to keep you engaged, entertained, and comfortable. I do this through using a few prompts to naturally move you into cute poses or simply by letting you and your partner relax and explore the area.

My #2 goal is to take amazing and flattering photos. While I keep you super engaged with each other and try to make the camera the least of your focus; I will once in a while ask you to adjust your arm or stance to create the most flattering look!

Through this mix of a photojournalistic and prompting approach to posing; it creates the most natural looking and beautiful outcome!

There’s something so special about capturing a love that’s worn in. You all know how much I adore photographing elopements — preserving all the excitement and joy of new love on that monumental day — but I also adore those later moments. When love has grown comfortable, relaxed, totally fine with being silly or sappy. There is something special in the mundane, the routine, and the person you chose to spend it with; and I want to capture it.
