My first official wedding that I didn’t coordinate under another person or company. 🎉 These two were precious and it’s been a pleasure to have known them since before they were together and to see their love grow. Mackenzie reached out in a panic when her original coordinator GHOSTED THEM. I told her not to worry and that I would do whatever it took to make her dream day come true.
The weather… it STORMED so much that morning that we were starting to accept to fact that the ceremony Mackenzie dreamed of being outside would have to be indoors. I scrambled to get clear umbrellas last minute so she could at least have some outside photos. Then just after the photographer arrived the weather became PERFECT for a fall wedding. 😍

Things I do for every wedding that aren’t pictured:
✅make sure everyone is dressed on time and where they are supposed to be for pictures and walking down the aisle
✅ redo your tables and entry way 10000x to make sure everything is exactly in the right spot
✅make sure your toasts/cake etc are done before guests leave
✅fix your dress/suit 1000 times for photos
✅ help get people on the dance floor
✅ make sure you get a moment to spend with your significant other and ENJOY your day
This day was perfect for a perfect couple and I couldn’t have done it without the fellow help of some other amazing vendors.

Hi there! Let me first off introduce myself. I'm Kara!
I grew up in central Missouri, spent some time in Texas, and then moved to Clarksville, Tennessee in 2012. I come from a huge family where every get-together is an event in itself. My parents raised me where we were always helping out with events, whether it was family events, church events, or community events like Relay for Life I was always involved.
In high school, this didn't stop. I was always helping with fall festivals for local elementary schools & various church events. After graduation, I decided that I wanted to pursue events further and attended Austin Peay to get a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Event Planning.
I have spent almost 10 years working events under other people professionally, for my professors, and several local venues.
I wanted to be the one to call the shots and it had always been a dream of mine to have my own business. So, in the fall of 2022, I decided to create KT Events & More. I'll be primarily working in Middle TN, but willing to travel anywhere!
When I'm not working events, you can find me hanging out with my Husband & three dogs. I love to travel, watch movies, take photos, and occasionally curl up with a good book.
