The third annual Goodwill of Colorado golf tournament in Denver at the very beautiful & scenic golf course at The Club at Ravenna! It is a privilege to work with this incredible organization that transforms so many lives here in Colorado. Many know of Goodwill by its stores and donating items so here is just one small fact...last year Goodwill received, recycled or repurposed more than 248 million pounds of donated items. That's the equivalent of more than 230,000 golf carts!!! Their impact is tremendous. This event and many others help raise funds to support their mission.

JRoush events celebrated our 10th anniversary with the AFCEA Rocky Mountain Cyberspace Symposium at The Broadmoor ! The AFCEA Rocky Mountain Chapter - Colorado Springs continues to elevate this event selling out sponsorships, exhibitors and increasing registration and they all do it on their own time! They provide grants and funding for stem-related programs for the continuing education of today's young leaders in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math and Computer Science. The Broadmoor resort and team never disappoints as they too continue to elevate and raise the bar for service and event ex*****on! I am honored to be part of this team and so appreciate the opportunity to work with this amazing group of individuals! !

Our last event for the year...TrueSport Mental Health and the Modern Coach Conference at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum TrueSport gathered coaches, experts and sports administrators to tackle the ever-so-critical topic of mental health. It's a privilege to be part of this event and to see the fantastic work they do to support youth sports.

This is our 7th year working with Goodwill of Colorado at the Garden of the Gods Resort on this incredible event for a fantastic cause! It is a privilege to be a part of this event, and I am lucky to watch it grow each year to provide more funding for all the programs Goodwill supports in our community. It's a long weekend but so worth it!! A shout out to all the staff of Goodwill of Colorado, Garden of the Gods Resort, Ward Berlin, Alison King, my husband Steve and my sister & brother-in-law, Jenny & Brett; it takes a tribe!

Making a difference with the Make a Splash Tour Presented by Phillips 66! JRoush Events has had the privilege for seven years to work with USA Swimming & the USA Swimming Foundation, running the logistics for the Tour.

This program brings USA Swimming Foundation Ambassadors & Olympic Medalists Rowdy Gaines, Cullen Jones, Elizabeth Beisel, Nathan Adrain & Chase Kalisz, to cities across the country to educate children, parents, communities and civic leaders on the importance of swimming as a lifesaving skill. The Olympic athletes engage within the local communities thru swim clinics for children in underserved areas while sharing water safety education in local schools.

Drowning is the leading cause of unintentional death for children ages 1-4 years old and the second-leading cause for children under the age of 14. Formal swimming lessons can reduce the likelihood of childhood drowning by 88 percent!

This week JRoush Events kicked off 2023 with its 9th year of supporting AFCEA Rocky Mountain Chapter - Colorado Springs Cyberspace Symposium. The event hit new records with attendance, sponsorships & exhibitors as it continues to raise the bar. The Broadmoor has been their partner and home to the event for 21 years providing exceptional service year after year. The AFCEA Rocky Mountain Chapter provided $484,235 to STEM education in 2022. The Symposium is the major fundraising event that enables them to provide the much-needed funding to advance the continuing education of young leaders in our community in science, technology, engineering & mathematics. I feel privileged to play a small part.

It's a wrap for the 2022 USA Swimming Make A Splash Tour presented by Phillips 66 with Ambassadors Cullen Jones, Elizabeth Beisel, Nathan Adrian & Rowdy Gaines. We completed our last stop in Rodeo, CA this week. There is no better way to kick off the summer months by teaching kids and parents the importance of learning how to swim and water safety. This program gifts money to programs/pools to assist with providing reduced fees or free swim lessons in their communities. I am proud JRoush Events has the opportunity to play a small part in getting this SO important message out around the country. Have a fun and safe summer!

Our second stop for USA Swimming Make a Splash tour is complete! This week we were in Amarillo/Borger, TX. Rowdy Gaines & Elizabeth Beisel spent time in schools sharing their amazing stories and educating kids on to never swim without an adult around and how important it is for them to be safe around water! In the evening we attended the Sod Poodles Minor League Baseball Game where we were one of two non-profits recognized during the Game. Elizabeth Beisel threw out the first pitch and further promoted water safety! Onto Rodeo, CA for our final stop....stay tuned.

First stop in the books for the USA Swimming Make A Splash Tour presented by Phillips 66! Rowdy Gaines, Elizabeth Beisel, Missy Franklin and CullenJones, Olympians and USA Swimming Foundation Ambassadors, were in Philadelphia this past week spreading the word about the importance of water safety and learning to swim. They are amazing Ambassadors and so admire the work they are doing to give back to their sport. We are proud that this is JRoush Events 6th year playing a part in this incredible Tour! This week we are off to Amarillo/Borger, TX for our second stop...stay tuned!

The 20th Anniversary and a truly successful event for the Rocky Mountain AFCEA Chapter! Lead by an amazing group of volunteers that are always raising the bar for their event in an effort to continue to provide approximately $300,000 in STEM scholarships for our local community! JRoush events closed out the year last week with a very powerful event with TrueSport at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum. This conference explored mental wellness through the lens of youth sport. TrueSport gathered nationally-recognized youth sport influencers and Olympic & Paralympic athletes to discuss challenges commonly experienced by young athletes. Extremely thankful for the chance to be a part of this event and so important topic. Feeling very blessed with the opportunities I have had this year with incredible companies and organizations here in our community.

I’m very proud to have played a part in the 5th annual Goodwill of Colorado An Enchanted Weekend hosted by the beautiful Garden of the Gods Resort, August 19-21!! This event raises money for the incredible programs that help change lives for so many in our community. So thankful for the opportunity. 💕🙏

You will be greeted by friendly Guest Experience Staff, enjoy the Games on a 50’ Jumbotron, try your chipping skills into the “golfopotamus” as well as see first hand sport demonstrations by table tennis, skateboarding, goalball, and Taekwondo! Come join the fun!
