⭐️It's time for another ⭐️
This week's featured runner is Patricia!

•Patricia is an active-duty service member in San Diego, California and started running races in 2017. Her first race was a St. Patrick’s Day 10K 🍀
•She completed her first half marathon in Las Vegas in 2017 and her first full marathon in San Diego in 2019. She also completed 2 full marathons in the same year in San Francisco and Honolulu.
•What Patricia loves about running: “Running keeps me healthy and allows me to keep an active lifestyle. In running, I get to discover new places and appreciate its beauty during my routes and that is what I love about this sport!”
•Aside from running, she loves to hike, travel the outdoors, and is also a licensed dance fitness instructor.
•In 2020, Patricia was selected on a lottery basis and registered to run the 50th Year of NYC Marathon. Due to pandemic, she had to defer. If circumstances permit, she is hoping to cross off running a World Marathon Majors from her bucket list this year.

Get to know more of the Easy Day Sports Team with this week's ! Meet the Easy Day Sports Director of Operations, Brian Ulery. Brian is a man of many talents:

•Brian is not only an avid runner and endurance sports enthusiast, he also loves cycling, rock climbing, and high-altitude adventuring.
•His introduction and commitment to an active lifestyle began in 2007 when he trained for and completed the Chicago Marathon.
•Now, he is competing in races of all shapes and sizes from neighborhood 5Ks to long distance triathlon to ultra-marathons.
•One last fun fact about Brian...his adventures have also taken him to some of the highest summits on the West Coast, and even Mt. Everest in Nepal!

▪️Judi started running races 6 years ago when her kids were old enough to start running in 5Ks. It was something fun they could do together as a family.
▪️She ran her first half marathon when she turned 50 and looks forward to running one every year!
▪️Judi loves the atmosphere during a race and enjoys that running keeps her healthy and strong and provides a mental challenge.
▪️She hopes to someday to run in a marathon in the city her husband was born - the Helsinki Half Marathon in Helsinki, Finland.

This week's featured runner is Vicki Tolan! Keep reading for some fun facts about Vicki:
▪️ Vicki started walking/ running in 2002 after recovering from a broken neck in a car accident. Her doctors said she may not ever walk again, and she told them: "not only will I walk, I'll run the LA Marathon!”
▪️ She started training with a friend who was an ultra marathoner, and ran the full LA Marathon when she was 55 years old! After that she was hooked on running and has since completed over 300 runs since 2003.
▪️ After Vicki retired in 2016, she created a women's summer walking group, the Summer "100 mile Challenge," with a goal to complete 100 miles during the summer months. The group started with just 3 walkers and has grown to over 80 participants for 2021!
