Just a reminder that the Jaycees will be on the hill tonight preparing for tomorrow. No tents are allowed to go up until Saturday morning at 8am!!! Once again no tents allowed until 8am Saturday!! Thank you and we will see everyone tomorrow night!! Let’s Go!!

What a great time tonight at our Business After Hours to Kick-Off this year’s Flem Whitt Beach Music Festival!

We enjoyed seeing so many people from the local business community, and those in town to camp and for the Festival! We met people from Person, Granville, Caswell, Alamance, Warren and Halifax counties, as well as lots from Virginia!

A special thank you to Buoys on Hyco Lake for hosting us and to Got it Covered DJ service for some great beach music tonight!

One of the great things about Flem Whitt Beach Music Festival is it brings out all the friends. Memories are made on that hill that last a lifetime. Roxboro Jaycees want to thank each and every one of you that show up and show out year after year. Thank you for making memories with us. Who remembers the year of the slip n slide? It rained so hard in the beginning. But that didn’t stop the fun! Good times and great memories!

Just a couple need to know rules for Saturday:

1. Bring your ID. We don’t care if you’re 60 years old. You need your ID period.

2. Tents may be put up Saturday morning at 8am. If they are up Friday night we will take them down. Saturday morning 8am!

3. No outside food or drinks! We will have food & beer trucks on site & free water.

4. Roxboro Jaycees will be providing water for the event. So of course NO COOLERS!! Once again for those that forget…. NO COOLERS!!

5. No pets/animals. Everyone is there to have a good time so that’s a no no.

6. Bring cash!!

7. We have a zero tolerance for under age drinking. If we find you are drinking and under age you will leave. If you plan on drinking please have a designated driver!

8.Have fun! It’s the biggest party of the year so enjoy yourself!
