Arabella was such an amazing young lady to work with. On the day of her session, Texas turned the heat and humidity up to 500, but she stayed in positive spirits and ROCKED her session! I can’t wait to see all of the big things she accomplished at UTA!!!

I know a lot of brides have had to change what their magical day "looks" like due to COVID. So when my childhood friend asked if I could take some photos at the courthouse, I didn't hesitate! You wouldn't know by looking at this that it was 500 degrees outside and I was withering away with each snap lol Even though I looked a hot mess, they looked FLAWLESS ❤️ ❤️❤️

I know it seems like I've been on a hiatus, but I've been here WORKIN my tail off!! Now that school has started, I feel like I can get back to my usual groove of posting! To kick off my sessions, I thought I would start w/ one of my favorite families! I really couldn't pick one photo to highlight my favorite, but I think this would do the family justice! :) More to come!

I have been amazingly blessed by all of the seniors I was able to photograph this school year. As a lot of you have already experienced, this year has been nothing but "normal", so being able to work with young adults that have overcome this craziness, was refreshing. I will have a series of posts to honor the Class of 2020 !!! The first senior I'd like to acknowledge is my nephew, Jesse Baca. He graduated from Cedar Hill High School and will be attending A&M in the fall. We are so proud of him and the big things that are yet to come!!!

This Momma is absolutely STUNNING!! Miram has something amazingly special about her. I admire her drive, perseverance and positive outlook on life! She comes from one of the most awesome families I have ever met. No doubt, this baby will be LOVED beyond compare.....and if I get my way, "Tia Mel" will get a chance to babysit (I never miss an opportunity to offer babysitting for babies ❤️💙)

I have known Avery since he was still in his momma's tummy and I can't believe he's about to graduate HIGH SCHOOL! You talk about feeling old lol

He is an AMAZING athlete and such a sweet young man. I'm excited to hear about the amazing things he will be doing in college. I know he will be doing BIG THINGS!

Ya'll, I have been WAITING for my crazy life to calm down just a tad so I can post all of the amazing sessions I have done! To kick off the new year, I am going to start w/ this gorgeous senior Seven. She was so outgoing and a joy to work with. I LOVED her personality and could totally see myself in her. Seven has big things in store for her future and she has only begun to scratch the surface of the next chapter in her life!

Our step brother got married over the weekend and I was able to snap some portraits. They are such an amazing couple, and complement each other very well. Not only that, but our new sis-N-law is amazing!!!!

OH ME....OH MY.....how I loved this session!!! There is a small little location that I have wanted to use during one of my sessions and I FINALLY had the opportunity! It was pretty chilly and Addy took it like a champ. She was such a joy to work with. Here are a FEW of my faves!!!!

Maternity Session Teaser: Christina is new to the DFW area and reached out for maternity photos. We couldn't have picked a more PERFECT day to take photos in "Narnia" :) I am in love with her session and hope to continue our "photo friendship" in the years to come!

Now that this AMAZING young lady had her Sweet 16, I can post away! :) I didn't want to spoil the surprise of her beautiful dress!! This young lady is my "spirit sister" and is setting her goals high. I have no doubt that she will be doing amazing things in the near future. ❤️

I must say, I am one lucky "Auntie"! I've known Haley since she was in elementary school (your calculations are correct, I was in 5th grade myself😉). At a young age, Haley and her sisters would refer to me as "Auntie Mel", and now, I'll be "Auntie Mel" to one more lil angel. I am blessed to be a part of my friend Jennifer's family, and can't wait to share Jen's happiness with her newest grandchild!!

Tara and I have known each other since I was a young whipper snapper and a little on the crazy side 😉. We've always kept in touch, even though we live on opposite ends of the metroplex. She has an AMAZING talent for art and just a beautiful person all around. With that being said, Happy EARLY birthday TARA!!! (side note, my 10 year old said "She's 40?! Wow, I would think she is late 20's or early 30's!" LOL )
