Posed photos are great and I love doing a few of those every session, but the real magic happens when you interact with your kids. Tickle them, fling em upside down, smother them with kisses....whatever you do daily to get belly laughs...I want to capture that! It's also way more enjoyable for everyone, haha!!

HELPFUL TIPS FOR WEDDING DAY THAT SAVES TIME:

▫️ try to get as much done before the day of so you have more time to enjoy the morning. For example, steaming your clothes prior, having your details in a box ready to go for your photo/video team, already having written your vows in your books, etc.

▫️ if you're a bride and you are wearing a dress, make sure whoever is zipping you up is dressed and ready to go before you are!

▫️ completing your family shot list on the questionnaire I send out! Weddings are an exciting time to be surrounded by close friends and family so it is natural to want to talk to your people. And you will get the time! The faster we can finish portraits, the faster to the partayyyy!

▫️ this is the most important. Having a good time and ENJOYING your day together! Weddings are a lot to plan (at times) so yes it can be overwhelming, BUT your wedding day should not be stressful. It's a time to celebrate the coming together of two beautiful humans that love one another! A timeline is there as a guide not an end all, be all. Be in the moment...the day goes quick!

People have asked me in the past if an engagement session is necessary, and my answer is ABSOLUTELY!

Making you feel extra comfy in front of my camera is the goal and makes such a HUGE difference come wedding day!

No one wants to show up to one of the biggest days of their life, and feel like they don't know the person that is quite literally third-wheeling the entire day!

An engagement in itself is such a special time. A time of celebration and to be extra lovey dovey! To celebrate the commitment that you are about to make and to hopefully be the extra fun part of wedding planning!

Plus you get bomb photos of the two of you in your element! Ones that you can add to the list of cherishing forever!
