The Sumner Tunnel is once again closing this summer. The closure is scheduled begin on July 5th and reopen on August 5th. As we did last year, we will be adding a $30 service fee to any call into or out of logan (Most companies are adding upwards of $50). During this time the typical additional $10 charge for overnight trips will be waved. We don't take this decision lightly. However, these closures create severe delays, especially coming out of Logan. Last year there were times when drivers were stuck in Logan for up to 2 hours trying to leave. These delays cost us a great deal of money as we now have to pay more overtime for drivers, add drivers, pay for gas for a driver to sit in traffic on top of the fees we must pay to pick up at Logan. We do our best to keep our prices as low as we can for our customers. We really do have some of the lowest prices for the services we provide. We ask for your understanding and patience for that month-long period where we really have no choice but to add a service charge. Remember during this time be mindful that these extenuating circumstances can create delays and unforeseen issues so please give yourself additional time when making your reservations. Thank you
