Hi Everyone,
First, we have been wanting to share updates on the progress of our brewery with you all, especially because we had plans to open this year, but construction is taking a bit longer than we expected and we have had a few setbacks, so we are hoping for a 2024 opening and will keep you updated as things progress.
Second, we wanted to share the news that our beloved friend and Six Spoke brewmaster, Brad Etheridge, passed away over the holiday weekend. We are completely heartbroken to have lost such a bright light. First and foremost, he was a husband, father, son, brother and friend. He was an incredible brewmaster with many professional accomplishments and a love for the craft beer community (and tacos). He had a zest for life unlike any other person — every day, he showed up with a positive attitude, and he had an infectious spirit about him. His circle of people extended far beyond because everyone he encountered, he embraced. We will miss his smile, humor and dedication to this new venture we were about to embark on together. He played a huge part in the progress of where we are in the build out, and was so excited to be a part of this project. Brad assisted heavily in setting up our equipment, and these photos are just a glimpse of how involved he was. We are motivated more than ever to continue our build out in his memory, and we will honor him for his efforts and knowledge. May he rest in peace, and may his spirit be a source of comfort and inspiration to us to push this to the finish line in his honor. Cheers to you, Brad, this one is for you.
With Love,
Joe, Jordan & Kelcie Mifsud
