I totally love my trips to the draft horse sale. The auctioneer's chant, is like music to my ears. I can sit and watch horses sell all day, surrounded by honest to goodness horsemen who live the life. Waking up to hoof beats on the pavement, buggies everywhere and sharing meals and visiting with old friends and making ones is allways the best
part. I miss it so much and already can't wait for the next trip.

Okay, here's a little throwback Thursday, just in time for Easter. Found these pictures of me and my first love and heart horse of all time Ginger. My first original "Easter Pony". She was an amazing horse, Saddlebred & Belgian cross. She was my carriage horse for almost a dozen years in chicago and the first horse I ever owned.
