CBS has been all over Hammond filming for an episode of 48 hours- Benny’s, Fumee, and yesterday they were here at Michabelle Inn for a marathon filming session. Can’t wait to see the final product!

Butcher and Baker is no longer operating at Michabelle Inn.

We at Michabelle Inn understand that this notice was unexpected and untimely for many in our community.

Butcher and Baker was an independently operated business located within the Michabelle facility.

Due to irreconcilable operational differences, and after many months of trying to work through those differences, we have elected to end the relationship between the two establishments.

Michabelle Inn is still operating as a bed and breakfast and will continue to provide breakfast to our room guests.

We will be exploring options to bring an expanded food and beverage / special event business back to the facility. We will post more details as they become available.

Thank you for your support over the last 26 years.

After your visit to the Hammond Farmers & Artisans Market, come warm up with us! We'll have the fire going, the coffee waiting, and the pastries freshly baked!

Looking through old photo albums on a rainy Sunday afternoon, the first two photos are from when the McGehee family owned the house (notice the screens on the second-floor balcony and the dark color at the top), next two are the photos from 1998 when Isabel and Michel bought it, and finally, today.
