Letter from heaven

To my dearest loved one
I wanted to say hi
And let you know I am OK
Seeing as though it's been a while

I'm writing this from heaven
And I've seen you have been sad
I've watched you wipe your tears away
And know you have been mad

I've seen you pacing up and down
When you can't fall to sleep
And if you find something of mine
You cannot help but weep

I hear you calling out to me
And you wonder where I am
Please know I'm always with you
And I'll guide you the best I can

I wish there was a telephone
Or a staircase you could climb
Then we wouldn't have to say Goodbye
And we'd have a lot more time

But for now until we meet again
I'll send a letter or two
To assure you that I am OK
And to say how much I miss you too.
