Been making most of the smaller prop kits I sell from resin rather than PLA+ or ABS, not sure if people appreciate having a material that's just a f ton easier to finish. It's definitely a ton more expensive on my side but personally having a prop made from resin rather than any FDM process just makes things so much easier as with any FDM made prop I'd spend any insane amount of time just sanding down all the layer lines. Use ABS resin as well so got plenty of durability too. Though idk y'all perfer resin of fdm?

1 to 1 scale figures/statues take an insane amount of work, especially when it's all smooth skin lol. Been working on this Ghost in the shell Major Kunsanagi statue for god only knows how long and finally starting to see the finish line, just waiting for this primer to finish curing and can finally start painting. This was about 30 or so pieces all spliced together and sanded smooth, months of printing and weeks just taking care of the seams. I can't wait to finish this one up though. Disaster at unami fest, heavy winds destroyed my booth my displays and a bunch of merch, several other vendors were affected as well. If ya see any other artist affected be sure to support thier online shops, and feel free to tag em in the comments. Small business survive on razor thin margins and having a whole booth destroyed is definitely a major set back for any of us.
