Park Theater Hudson is excited to welcome Chandler Travis to the stage Thursday, September 26th at 8pm.

Chandler Travis is the bandleader of the Chandler Travis Philharmonic, the Incredible Casuals, Travis, Shook, & the Club Wow, and the Chandler Travis Three-O, and most of the 50 or so albums he's released over the last 50 years or so have been with one or another of them. He's had an active touring schedule throughout, perhaps most notably (and frequently) with George Carlin and NRBQ, (but also Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Costello, Bonnie Raitt, and many others), and still writes, performs, and records prolifically, both solo and (remarkably and thankfully, still!) with almost all of the same bands.

Park Theater Hudson is excited to welcome Rachael Kilgour and The Pairs to the stage Friday, October 25th at 8pm.

RACHAEL KILGOUR Canadian-American songwriter Rachael Kilgour presents her heartfelt new release, My Father Loved Me, written in memory of her late father. The album was recorded in her father’s native Ontario and was produced by JUNO-award winning and Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Rose Cousins.

THE PAIRS This Internationally touring band of celebrated songwriters greet every stage with a genuine, quirky presence and unbottled chemistry. Their sibling harmonies and familial banter quickly connects them to their audience. Whether The Pairs are playing an intimate house concert or a sold out show at a performing arts centre, these classically trained vocalists make it their mission to employ three part harmony and honest storytelling as the mighty tools that soften and connect us.

Park Theater Hudson is excited to welcome Venus de Mars back to the stage Friday, October 11th at 8pm.

Venus de Mars is a multidisciplinary artist and musician, best known as a singer-songwriting transgender rock star and leader of the glam-punk trans-band Venus de Mars & All the Pretty Horses. Venus came out as transgender in 1988. A time when identifying as trans meant being classified as having a mental perversion and living as an outcast. Her refusal to live a shadow existence, instead embracing her uniqueness, complicated her musical and artistic career paths. She is now mid-process in writing a memoir reflecting her thirty-year trans journey and place in this fast-changing, trans-embracing-backlashing world where we now find ourselves. Venus along with her spouse Lynette Reini-Grandell are also the subject of the award-winning [2004] rockdocumentary.

Park Theater Hudson is excited to welcome Sami Stevens to the stage Friday, October 18th at 8pm.

NYC singer-songwriter Sami Stevens harnesses Jazz, Soul, and Folk influences to create truly intimate original music. In writing songs, singing and accompanying herself on keyboard, she crafts a musical world based in silence, delivering dynamic, personal performances.

Though performing solo is where she takes complete control of the stage, Sami is also an avid collaborator. She is currently joining Norah Jones on organ and background vocals, as Norah tours her 2024 release ‘Visions.’ Other recent collaborations include I Insist by Kazemde George, The Way I Feel Inside by Marty Isenberg, And I'm Right by Sami Stevens and the Man I Love, the Make Your Mind EP with producer KG,B, and Brave New World by Tredici Bacci.

Park Theater Hudson is excited to welcome Headcase to the stage Saturday September 28th.

Headcase is a Rock and Roll band very popular in the Oneonta and Catskill Mountain region. Playing venues such as Omegang Brewery, The New York State Fair, and Halfmoon Bay Pumpkin Festival. In addition to a residency as house band at the Andes Hotel Headcase played most all of the college bars and just plain bars in Oneonta and outlying area. The band went on to recording an original album at Pie Studios in Glen Cove. Headcase plays an eclectic collection of covers in addition to its own original music. This show in Hudson will be their first reunion in over ten years. Come see what these boys can do!

Amanda Neill's magnetic stage presence and emotional intensity carries a delicate balance between fierce and fragile. Park Theater Hudson is excited to welcome Declan McLaughlin & Jennifer Kelly to the stage Friday, September 27th at 8pm.

Declan McLaughlin and Jennifer Kelly are from Derry City, N. Ireland’s vibrant music community. McLaughlin’s dark theme songs connect working class life with hope, humor, survival and resilience, while Jennifer Kelly’s vocals rounds out the duo’s sound. In McLaughlin’s latest solo release “My Northern Soul“ (produced by Brian Brinkerhoff/Need To Know Records) he collaborated with violinist Scarlet Rivera (notable for supporting Bob Dylan on his “Desire” LP). Jennifer Kelly’s keyboard accompaniments and operatic vocals adds to McLaughlin’s material masterfully. Both are warm and engaging on stage, while presenting darkly beautiful stories in song and sound.

Three time Blues Music Award nominee Alexis P. Suter is the owner of that big, booming voice you can hear roaring out of Brooklyn into the heart of the North America and beyond.

The Alexis P. Suter Band are on the rise again as accolades pour in and they continue to captivate audiences from town to town. APSB are a powerful and unique 6 piece ensemble who artfully blend the lines between Blues, Soul and Rock music. Alexis' voice ranges from a pained passion to explosive and soul bearing. The band is also on fire manned by the power trio of Bennett, Bennett and Grappone. Jimmy Bennett is a guitar phenomenon with a fierce and ferocious tone. Drummer Ray Grappone and Peter Bennett on bass lay down the groove like a heavy duty Rhythm and Blues machine. Dan Weiss is absolutely masterful on keyboard and piano, and rounding out the group is the very talented vocalist Vicki Bell.

GLORI WILDER grew up with a range of musical influences; from running barefoot through bluegrass festivals, regular drives from the woods of Connecticut to Boston along to a hip hop soundtrack, family members in reggae bands and a constant introduction to experimental British rap, Glori developed a unique perspective on music and artistic expression.

Lila Blue is a 24 yr old non-binary and q***r folk musician, singer-songwriter, playwright, and performer based out of New York. They’ve been performing and composing professionally since early childhood in communally devised theater as well as developing a music career.

NOGA is a singer-songwriter, composer, and creator of interdisciplinary art. Their music blends folk-jazz-inspired melodies with intricate rhythmic grooves, resulting in dynamic warm earthy tones. Her deeply personal and emotionally resonant works speak to the complexities of self and the human experience, creating expansive, cinematic soundscapes that capture the nuances of each moment.

Park Theater Hudson is excited to welcome Melissa Ferrick to the stage Saturday October 12th with special guest Sweet Petunia.

Melissa Ferrick is regarded in the industry and by their peers as one of the most prolific, generous, and hardworking people in the business. After opening for Morrissey in the U.S. and UK, Ferrick signed with Atlantic Records at the age of 21 and released her debut and sophomore albums with them. Between 1996 and 1999, Melissa released three albums with the Colorado-based indie label W.A.R. Records. In 2000, Melissa launched the nationally distributed independent record label Right On Records. Ferrick put out two critically acclaimed albums with NY-based label MPress Records between 2011 and 2013. She's released seventeen albums over the last twenty-five years and has won numerous awards for songwriting, production, and performance. Melissa has shared the stage with countless acts, some of which include Morrissey, Joan Armatrading, Weezer, Tegan and Sara, Mark Cohen, Paul Westerberg, Bob Dylan, John Hiatt, Ani DiFranco, k.d. Lang, Suzanne Vega, Shawn Colvin, and many others.

Show Announcement! Richard Lloyd returns to The Park Theater, Saturday October 5th.

Richard Lloyd is a legendary electric guitarist, singer/songwriter, and founding member of Television, a band that rose to fame with their 1977 debut release, Marquee Moon, widely regarded as one of greatest albums in rock and roll history and perhaps the most defining and highly influential release of the 1970’s New York rock scene. Lloyd embarked on a solo career after Television disbanded, releasing seven solo albums and working as a guitarist, session musician, and band member with Matthew Sweet, John Doe, Rocket from the Tombs, and more. Released in October 2017, Lloyd’s book, Everything Is Combustible: Television, CBGB’s and Five Decades of Rock and Roll: The Memoirs of an Alchemical Guitarist establishes Lloyd as a masterful storyteller and humorous and insightful writer with an acerbic and razor-sharp wit.

GLENN ECHO Formed in 2015, under the moniker Glenn Echo, a nod to the street he grew up on, the alt-folk project by multi-instrumentalist Matt Gaydar has a deceptively intricate way of spinning acoustic guitar melodies, cozy vocal harmonies, and introspective lyrics. SLOW PACKER Slow Packer is a collaborative music project between two brothers, Jack Victor and Mike Henry Johnson.

SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT! Tommy Stinson's Cowboys in the Campfire return to The Park Theater for PORCHFEST! Saturday August 24th.

Stinson’s latest venture is called Cowboys in the Campfire — with good pal Chip Roberts and Michael “Chops” LaConte — and its debut album, WRONGER, is perhaps the most American album the singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer has ever made. Stinson, LaConte and Roberts take us from Nashville to Bakersfield on songs such as “Mr. Wrong” and “Fall Apart Together,” while “Schemes,” “Souls” and “Dream” are showcases of an ace pop songwriter.
