I am a professional, polished emcee with a great voice. While I can be a "party motivator” DJ and I can get on the microphone to “get the party started” like it’s a night at t

he club, but that's not really who I am. If you are looking for someone to do this at your wedding, I would be happy to refer you to a DJ that specializes in that sort of thing. Peffer Production's central motto is "we like fun." That's what we specialize in and that is what I do: I DJ weddings that are fun. If you want your guests to have a “nice time” but not go crazy on the dance floor, I can do that. I will make sure that your wedding is elegant and tasteful all the way through dinner, but once the dance floor opens I want a throw-down dance party for the rest of the night. Your event should be a fun, memorable occasion that people talk about for years to come. I can make that happen. I'm happy to play whatever you wish to hear. You can be as involved, or as hands-off as you wish and leave it up to me. Either way, you and your guests will be entertained. My rates are standard, hourly, and include as much as you wish regarding lighting and my set-up and breakdown. I am easy to work with, flexible and will do everything in my power to ensure you and your guests have a great time. I am one thing you do not need to worry about when you have your event. You don't need to jump through hoops, and I'm happy to assist in any way regarding your venue, planning and additional vendors you may need for your day. I service weddings and events in the greater First Coast and NE Florida/SE Georgia area throughout the year.

This is a very cool post about putting yourself out there, trying something new and perseverance.

Randall is easily my favorite KJ/DJ in town. If it weren’t for him, I would have never tried my hand at DJing myself.

It started when I began attending Sunday nights at Rack Em Up semi-regularly, and then almost every week. Why not? It was an absolute blast. There are countless good times and great songs sang. But after enough time, and seeing Randall do his work at other places like The Sinclair and Cafe 331, I watched how he’d host, work the crowd and interact with everyone. He showed me some basics and I soaked it in as something I could definitely do.

One day, out of the blue, I got a big question from a friend, “hey, have you ever DJ’d a wedding?” I’d never DJ’d anything. Ever. “No. But what’s up?” “Well, my friend is getting married and their DJ just backed out. Can you do it?” I had a PA, tons of music. How hard could it be? I can assure you, it’s NOT easy, but it IS fun.

Life leads you interesting places sometimes, and I’m grateful Randall helped steer me that way.
