YogaSong, a Kripalu influenced practice, blends the eight limbs of yoga with chant and mantra. " I use these tools in my practice to open my heart, quiet my body and focus my mind. It is my deepest desire to meet my edge, face my fears and move forward with the grace of the Divine. I wish to be a humble guide for others so we may experience the acceptance, compassion and love that surrounds us alw

ays. Engaging the breath, body and voice can potentially release us from our fears and allow us to surrender into Divine Love."

Yoga needs to be accessible to everyone.
It is a matter of ethics.

I am committed to offering sliding scale classes and continue to form community partnerships that seek wellness grants to underserved populations.

It is a radical act to live a life of devotion without bypassing suffering.

We create more suffering when we ignore/look away/deny suffering.

Part of the practice is transforming suffering.

Awareness precedes transformation.

Devotion gives us spaciousness in that awareness.

I have a 3 point practice that helps anchor us here in the space of awareness and devotion.

Stay tuned Dear Ones!

Part of my work and walk in the world is as a Certified Music Practitioner with hospice-here are some words on death, dying and letting go.

Observing the breath, the muscles in the face, the brow, and the jaw, as well as the hands – are they clenched in fists or slightly open? There is so much to pay attention to with a person that is actively dying. Paying attention with presence and meeting people where they are in their transition ...

The second point of a three-point practice I have for grounding in chaos is committing to the art of staying inspired and engaged.

Many of us here for the long haul know that moving from mechanistic, reductionist views of nature as inert and available for extraction towards living systems and seeing ourselves as nature is necessary for survival and sustainability.

To me, as a facilitator and a teacher it is all also necessary and helps me stay inspired and committed to be a lifelong student.

So grateful to for connecting the wisdom of Celtic culture to the global movement towards collaboration and compassion.

Blessings on the teachings and movements that Dr. Riane Eisler and Dr. Vandana Shiva have birthed and shared that are compasses and guides to a more enlightened, compassionate future.

by Seane Corn

For days now, I have sat frozen, staring at the horrible images of beautiful human beings, blasted and broken, all with hopes, dreams, and desires for a future that will never be realized. I grieve for these lives lost, and for the continued hatred that makes it possible to dehumanize one group of people toward the other and justify the acts of violence we are witnessing.

Someone wrote to me and asked, “Seane, as a yogi and a Jew, how do you reconcile this? On which side does your heart rest?”

On which side does my heart rest?

My heart will never rest until there is peace, justice, safety, equality, access to resources, dignity, respect, and love for ALL innocent people who want to live free.

My heart sides with the early morning Jewish dancers celebrating the rising sun as Hamas paragliding terrorists float in the sky preparing for murder.

My heart sides with the countless innocent Palestinian citizens who exist under Hamas and Israeli rule and continue to live in pain, powerlessness, suffering, oppression, and abuse.

My heart sides with the Jewish families praying for the safety of their kidnapped friends and family and grieving their beloveds who were mercilessly slaughtered.

My heart sides with the Palestinian mothers who cover their babies with their bodies to protect them from the bombing, who are thrust into darkness and without food, water, or supplies, facing a continued catastrophic humanitarian crisis that is not of their choosing.

My heart sides with the Jewish people suffering from the endless anti-semitism that continues to threaten their very existence. My very existence.

My heart sides with the Palestinian people who have absolutely no where to go.

So I hold in my broken heart, my Jewish brothers and sisters. I’m so sorry. I hold in my broken heart my Palestinian cousins. I’m so sorry. None of this is right.

I denounce terrorism and political supremacy in all forms and my heart will always side with those who want peace.

May God bless and protect the innocent and hold accountable those who put power, dominance, and terror over love, compassion, and unity.

Shalom. Salam. Shanti. Peace. 🙏🏼

I'm talking inclusion and accessibility on The Thread Yoga Collective on Monday, Oct 16th.

Join us! No cost to join and we would love to hear from Yoga teachers and practitioners.

Join us for our next In the Inquiry community conversation on Monday, October 16th at 7pm EDT!

Our discussion this month is about what belonging and inclusion look like in yoga. Join Liza Bertini and guest host, Rachel Allen, as they discuss how we, as teachers, can cultivate spaces and experiences that embody belonging and inclusion.

Each month we engage in conversations about concepts and topics to explore the meaning of life and how to live more consciously and skillfully in our ever-evolving world today.
From simple questions, and common challenges, to deep complex inquiries–we choose a topic, start up a conversation (sometimes with invited guests), and see where it goes. Every discussion is unique, and inspiring, and provides valuable tools for living, teaching, and food for thought.

Join us In the Inquiry.

Only on The Thread!

This event is open to the public and is FREE! Please let your yoga teacher friends know about it!

Blessings For Those Tender of Heart. You of tender hearts who by now ought to have grown weary of loud voices and the pandering of cynics and self-appointed leaders. It has been a year since my chapbook was published!!

❤️🙏 I'm so grateful for all of the support for this piece of my heart. A huge thank you to everyone who has purchased this book!

❤️🙏 So far, I have workshopped the book for several different organizations at a retreat this summer where I co facilitated this experience with live music which was extraordinary!

❤️🙏 Recently, I created a facilitator's guide for the book and would love to hear from anyone who has received this and done any facilitation with the material.

❤️🙏 What a privilege it has been to have my blessings spoken at many Community gatherings and commemorations.

❤️🙏 So grateful to those who have shared my work in their spheres of influence as a means of offering medicine and support during challenging times.

❤️🙏 Locally, has my book and it can be checked out and it can be purchased at

❤️🙏 And! You can still purchase a copy through the publisher and the link is in my bio.

❤️🙏 AND! If you are interested in a facilitated experience of moving through the blessings, please let me know I am happy to come to you or offer something virtually!

Big thanks to
For all the support!
