A lot of people continue to reach out asking about donating new & GENTLY used clothing for the displaced residents of Ashville NC.

Below is a list of locations accepting donations of new and GENTLY used clothing. If you choose to arrange a delivery with another local truck heading down south, or send a shipment down to a fire station listed below, it MUST be coordinated with the fire chief at the corresponding fire station. Other drop point locations are listed below as well. It was recommended to me from a NC volunteer to start at the bottom of this list for drop points as the top of the list seems to be heavily saturated with donations at the moment.

Please be mindful that if you are donating used clothing IT MUST BE GENTLY USED. Please do not send dirty, torn, worn clothing. While we know these people would most likely take just about anything right now, items that may contaminate other deliveries do not help this cause. IE: moldy clothes, blankets and pillows with bed bugs and fleas, etc. Sounds crazy but we had to w**d through some pretty gnarly items last week before we organized and loaded the A.N. Webber Logistics semi-trailer. Again, we appreciate everyone's kindness, but we really want to make life a little easier for the volunteers down in NC as they are contributing a ton of time and energy into separating and dispersing supplies to residents.

Thanks again to the community of Kankakee and surrounding areas that made last week's truck of supplies a reality. YOU MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN A LOT OF LIVES.

So thankful for these pictures. Really makes everyone feel inspired to know the truck was unloaded at the intended drop points and can now be used to help the victims of Ashville, NC. Thank you again to everyone who contributed to this vision. It goes to show that some good CAN come from social media. In this case a lot of good came from late night scrolling. Again, this was a late night idea last Wed and those supplies reached people in need by Sunday - let that sink in. Our community stepped up fast and furious and we thank you for that blessing.

The truck arrived at the Ashville, NC drop point this morning and is in the process of being unloaded! Thank you again to everyone that donated and helped with this effort! It would not have been possible without all of you.

Ladies and Gentlemen… WE DID IT!

Thank you to all the donors, all the runners, all the packers, all the loaders, all the promoters!

Our community filled a 53’ semi trailer to the max within 48 hrs from start to finish. Literally 48 hours from start to finish people!!!

This project started as an idea on Wednesday night and we closed the semi doors at 10:50 PM, Friday!

North Carolina here we come.

It takes a village for sure.

As many of you have seen in the news, Hurricane Helene has devastated Asheville, North Carolina, and the surrounding areas. Entire communities have been displaced, with families trapped on mountains, cut off from essential resources like food and water, and many losing their homes. The destruction is overwhelming, and the need for help is urgent. At PolyJohn, we feel this pain deeply, as we have a warehouse located not far from the affected region. These are our neighbors, and we want to do everything we can to assist them during this difficult time.

That's why we filled a truck with essential supplies and drove down to Kankakee, Illinois, to support the relief efforts headed up by our amazing customer Head Honcho Portable Restrooms and A.N. Webber Logistics. They will be sending a full semi-trailer of essential supplies to North Carolina this weekend!

In addition, we have partnered with Crossroads Church in Asheville and set up a GoFundMe to raise funds for a water truck, which will deliver water to those who need it most, along with other vital supplies like diapers, paper towels, bedding, and toothpaste — basic necessities that many have been left without.
