It is with a heavy heart that we write this post. Polly Holmes sadly died yesterday, Wednesday, February 14, 2024, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Per Polly's request, there will be no services. Our thoughts and prayers go out to John, Poly's husband of 56 years.

We are sad to report the death of Stan Kendrick of Bandera, Texas. Stan was the husband of the late Shirley Pember Kendrick. Stan was a director of TAGRA in the 1980's and also served as alternate auctioneer to Mr. Lem Jones when the show and sale was held in Rocksprings, Texas.

Services will be Friday, February 2nd, 2024 at 11:00, with visitation from 9:00-11:00 at Grimes Funeral Chapel, Bandera, Texas.

Memorial services for Jack Lloyd Groff, 98, of Kerrville, who passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023, in Kerrville, will be held at 2 PM, Monday, December 18, 2023, at First Presbyterian Church.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.

We are sad to report the death of Mr. Jack Groff. He passed away Thursday, November 30th. Services are pending at Kerrville Grimes Funeral Chapel. We will post the arrangements when they have been finalized.

Below please find the results of the 2023 TAGRA Jackpot Show. We had an excellent turn out with 185 head showing. We were happy to welcome the new faces and all the family and supporters. Following more pictures will be posted of the event.

Who will be the 2023 TAGRA Jackpot Winner? Come out to the Texas Fleece and Fiber Festival and watch the goat show Saturday, October 28th to see who wins the 2023 TAGRA Jackpot show champion angora. There will be close to 200 head of angoras at the show. Show starts at 8:00 a.m.
