What a busy week! It must be the incentives that we offer to book your events in July and August. The Venue Uptown provides 8800 sq ft of flexible meeting spaces which makes if possible to host a variety of events each week.

We began with the Ostrander Family Association FB Group (OFA) Reunion. People came in from around the country to see where their ancestors landed in the 1600s.

We hosted 2 Tour Buses that enjoyed all of the local attractions, dinner and a hot buffet breakfast in their private banquet room daily.

Dinner was served to SUNY Ulster ESF and The Empire Saluki Club. Both groups had menus created specifically for their events. SUNY ESF enjoyed vegan meatballs as an addition to their Italian Dinner. Chef Dane Fullenweider created an entire Mediterranean Menu for the Saluki Club. Everyone was delighted!

Inbetween all of this, we hosted Coldwell Banker Village Green Realty and Marshall+Sterling.

Our Christmas in July promotions and Holiday Menus are available now on our social media platforms, our website or by calling The Venue Uptown sales office @ 8458027007. We are booking Holiday Parties and offering a special perk if you secure a date by the end of this month so be sure to mention this Facebook post when you call to make your reservations.

On Thursday, December 12th, we are opening up our Uptown Ballroom to local companies to book a spot at our Holiday Cocktail Party. Mingle with your coworkers and network with other community businesses. We will have a photo booth, music, specialty cocktails at our cash bar and a gift wrapping station. Proceeds from the gift wrapping portion will be donated to the Ulster County SPCA so bring you gifts in to be wrapped by our staff.

We are finishing strong hosting a total of 3 Weddings this month. 2024 is feeling like the 1980's when everyone hosted their weddings at The Holiday Inn which is now the Best Western Plus Kingston Hotel and Conference Center.

We hosted the Farm Credit East, ACA this week. We are getting ready for a busy weekend. Tonight we begin with a rehearsal dinner and the Cheer eXtreme NY for their annual banquet. Saturday we will be hosting the first of three wedding in the month of June! Sunday we have a lovely private brunch for a very special couple.

It is Graduation Season👩‍🏭👨‍🏭 and The Venue Uptown has many rooms to choose from to honor your graduate. Featured in these pictures is our Uptown Ballroom which is perfect for celebrating! The room boasts a large, movable dance floor that can be configured in many different ways. There is space for 225 of your favorite people. Our staff is courteous and attentive and our Chef receives rave reviews from our customers weekly. Because we are located within a full service hotel, we can host a breakfast, lunch or dinner event, seven days of the week. We offer a special rate for sleeping rooms for your out of town guests too. I can't tell you how much of a game changer it was for us to be able to come in Thursday to set everything up so that all we had to do was focus on getting there that evening and making sure all of the minor details were taken care of. Last week was filled with events. Thank you to for hosting your meetings with us, Napanoch Fire Department for hosting your Banquet with us and Mental Health Association in Ulster County Inc. for hosting your Eating Disorder Conference with us.

Looking ahead to this weekend, it is our pleasure to be hosting the Saugerties Central School District Retirement Dinner, The Herdegan Golf Club, the McCormick Memorial and Cedar Grove Fire Company and Centerville Fire Co Banquet. Thank you to everyone for your continued partnerships.

We are jumping into the busy weekend with an assortment of Cold Hors D'Oeuvres for the EMPIRE STATE WATER WELL DRILLERS ASSOCIATION Board Meeting.

Tomorrow we have a full house with every banquet space being utilized. Thank you to L.L.Bean EMPIRE STATE WATER WELL DRILLERS ASSOCIATION Empire State Grotto Association (E.S.G.A.) and a Memorial for a lovely man that passed suddenly this week.
