Yesterday's meet up event was so much fun! 💐

Getting to spend time chatting with other small business owners in you area is such a special treat.

Entrepreneurship is hard and lonely at times.

Being around other people and just laughing and talking is so therapeutic.

This is networking y'all! It doesn't always have to be so serious and tense and nerve wracking.

I feel like when people hear that they should go network they think they need to be in a power suit with business cards and serious faces.

And while there is a time and place for that.... networking can also be just relaxing, chatting, meeting new people, and making plans with them to explore some new possibilities!

Last week, for April's meet up, we had the honor of touring Maryville's new venue on Broadway, !

Y'all... the W O W factor when you walk in the door is legit amazing!

This venue is a must see if you are a bride searching for her wedding day location. If you love the exposed brick, warm rich feel, beautiful warm lights... then you'll love this building.

I wish I had snapped a full photo of the bridal suite! It is to die for. AND overlooks the entire main floor. Absolutely gorgeous.

This is an open event with an open time frame.

With the new reboot idea we really wanted to switch the focus from serving wedding 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙨 to serving wedding 𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙤𝙧𝙨.

And not in the traditional sense that you may think of when you think of a "collective".

We really want to create opportunities for you to get to meet new people, hang out with them, get to know them, talk business or about whatever you like!

The meet up ideas we have coming this year will be a great place for this type of relationship building.

Hello Hello! 👋

I am SO EXCITED to be posting on this feed for the first time in far too long.

There are tons of new followers here so I wanted to introduce myself, my new collective partner, and the collective's new purpose here in Knoxville!

I'm Devon, owner of and creator of this little dream of a collective I had a few years back. I am a huge believer in community, networking, and building relationships with like minded fellow small business owners. We were not created to do business, or life in general, all alone.

So here's the scoop you've been waiting to hear...

It's true! The KWC is getting a reboot with a whole new look! What does this mean?

•No monthly dues
•No official members
•No advertising businesses

Instead we are going to be planning a different Networking Event for ANY & ALL wedding vendors each month. Switching our focus to our community and the vendors that keep our industry alive and running. We want to create opportunities to help vendors build new friendships to learn and grow alongside.

Think... meet & greet patio nights with food and drinks, venue tours followed by hanging out, floral workshops putting together cute bouquets, pot luck dinners to create a relaxed & filling networking opportunity.

2020 Fall Wedding Season has arrived! It may look quite different this year compared to fall seasons in the past... But people are still saying I Do and we are here for it! 🙌

The Collective kicked off this wedding season with our first styled shoot at the end of August and we are so excited to share with you all the amazing photos and vendors. We created a true to 2020 elopement styled shoot that featured so many great locations showcasing our beloved Knoxville.

Venue Alert! We are super excited to have Smithview Pavilion as part of our collective! While being located in the heart of Maryville, this wedding venue still caters to MANY Knoxville couples. With a beautiful big space to host your guests, you can be outside yet covered from anything mother nature throws your way and still enjoy the natural light and air.

The property is gorgeous, spacious, and natural. Perfect for beautiful photos with the creek behind you or on their iconic bridge just a walk away from the pavilion. The brick wall has a modern feel popping in with a tall stone fire place and a stunning grassy chandelier hanging down the middle.

Definitely give them a follow to see all they have to offer! You won't be disappointed!

Hey hey! It's Wedding Wednesday so we wanted to hop on here and introduce another talented Wedding Planner we have on board. Meet Kenzie, of .kenzie !

This lady is ON IT y'all! She is growing her business and her team exponentially. Having only launched her planning business just over a year ago she has already built a team of multiple day of coordinators, with one more in training, two on stand by, and one assistant! She is ready to help you plan your day without one single hitch!

She is also one kick butt business woman. She is in grad school for accounting and knows the ins and outs of numbers. This is perfect for helping you budget your wedding and find your vendors. In this collective we will be having at least one monthly gathering or meet-up for our members. Are they mandatory? No. Will they be fun? Yes! Will they benefit you due to the networking you can do? Most definitely!

We know running a business is A TON of work and life gets busy. Which is why we understand if you cannot make it to one of our monthly meetings. We will be working behind the scenes to continue to create opportunities for you to spend time with other vendors in our industry face to face.

This industry is not just about making money. It's about building relationships. Relationships with our fellow vendors, or our co-workers essentially, and our couples. Both are so incredibly important!

Hi friends! Brittany here, to tell you about my own personal experience getting married in Downtown Knoxville!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

When my hubby and I got engaged, we knew we wanted an urban/downtown aesthetic for our wedding. Give us ALL of the exposed brick! We ended up going with The Emporium Center, which was the perfect size for our guest count. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Not only did we have a wonderful experience with our venue, but one of my favorite memories is the fact that everything was SO close! After our reception, our friends walked right around the corner, down a block, and danced the night away at Hanna's in the Old City. Then my new husband and I walked to our suite at the Crowne Plaza.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I love the feeling of coming "full circle" knowing that I can now help other local brides seek the best that Downtown Knox has to offer for their weddings. We are so excited to have this creative and talented husband and wife duo as part of our collective. Their work is beautiful and shows so much emotion. It is very clear they have a huge heart and passion for capturing authentic moments and true love. Their creative eye has us in awe at every image they post. I mean just look at these gorgeous images from a recent wedding at 《Swipe!》 They are amazing!

Caleb just went full time with Tiff on this new venture and we cannot wait to watch them grow together as a powerhouse team! Congrats you two!
