Our staff spotlight is shining on Isaac today! ⭐ Isaac is one of our newest team members—and also one of our most knowledgeable! As part of our plant care team, he spends his shifts here nurturing the greenhouse. His favorite plant is the Anthurium Red Crystal, and he boasts a collection of over 100 plants, which isn’t so surprising after learning he’s been asking for plants as birthday and Christmas presents since childhood. Isaac currently attends LCC and plans to study plant biology at MSU. He says there’s no better place to get plants than at Hyacinth House, and coming from someone as well-versed in plants and their care as he is, we consider that high praise!

We appreciate Isaac for his attention to detail and incredibly positive attitude. Next time you visit, feel free to ask him a plant question or two—he loves to share his passion and is a wealth of knowledge!

It's spooky how fast fall is flying by! We still have a few plants and pumpkins ready to decorate your porch for Thanksgiving but the winter holidays are sneaking up on us. Our Christmas cactus are ready to burst, Norfolk pines are looking fabulous and poinsettias are soon to be on their way!

It's National Cat Day and we love our greenhouse kitties!

Lily is quiet and sleepy, but still a bruiser! She's been known to fight off a racoon or two. Her favorite spot is in our design room curled up in her basket.

Fern is our newest addition, she is young and full of curiosity! You can find her in unusual places like the top of our delivery cooler, cat walking in the rafters of the greenhouse, or hiding in cupboards.

Come by any day of the week to pick up a plant or flowers and pet a cat!

We are so excited to announce the newest member of the Hyacinth House Family! This is Fern! She has been a welcome addition since we lost Ramsey over the summer. Fern is still young, but is quickly learning the ropes around the greenhouse! She's a quirky little thing and you may find her weaving through peace lilies, or curled up in one of her many boxes around. If you're really lucky, she'll show you her flamingo impression!
