2023 has had its moments. This has been a year of transition, reconnection, heartbreak, elevation, health challenges, wins, and losses. Lost my leading lady (my Auntie) this year but I am grateful to God for the time he allowed me to spend with her. Through it all, I also thank God for each and every challenge he has thrown my way. I learned a lot about myself and others this year. Who's in your corner and who's not, but it's all good. I love the person I am becoming more and more. I don't sweat the small stuff at all. I am grateful for everyone who has hung in there with me, I love you guys to pieces. Thankful to be ending 2023 on a high note and with a clear mind and heart. Ended the year celebrating my baby boy with my family and friends, can't get any better than that!! Cheers to 2024!!!

Do you recognize the floral arch? 🌼 When we begin designing with our couples, versatility is something we take into consideration, especially when florals are involved!

With help from all our assistants, we brought the original altar piece from the ceremony to the reception room while the wedding party and guests were enjoying cocktails and taking photos! 🌼 This meant that our couple made the most of their floral display and they had a beautiful backdrop for all their photos. 📸

Happy Monday everyone!!!

I had my last event of the year, celebrating my sister’s retirement and it was epic!!! I am always thankful for the opportunity to be a part of someone’s special celebration.

This was my 1st weekend off in a while y’all, whew!!!

Happy Birthday to Me

I have been through so much in my life and I thank God I don't look like what I've been through. This year in particular has been very tough for me and my family, we have lost so much and so many. Through it all, I have learned valuable lessons about life and about myself. This year has shown me that we don't have time and that life is truly a gift. I don't have time for foolishness, envy, hatred, grudges, or any negativity. There was a time in my life where I was quiet and kept my feelings to myself but if you knew me my facial expressions would say it all. When I love, I love hard, sometimes that comes with consequences. I've always tried to do right by others but now I am doing right by ME. My words may not always be gentle but when I speak it is out of love and not malice. I will continue to speak my truth and live my life unapologetically. I no longer care what others think of me, well, actually I never did. This was also a year of growth for me personally and professionally and I am truly blessed to see another year. So today I celebrate ME and will enjoy every moment. If I offend you by who I am. Sorry, NOT sorry. THIS is 55.

Happy Monday Everyone!!!

It’s been a busy busy season for us, no days off, long hours, late nights, etc. the list goes on and on but I am truly grateful for the people who trust me and give me the opportunity to do what I love.

The weekend is over and just like that it’s Monday again.

I love Mondays because it’s a fresh start to a new week. I read this motivational statement every week so I thought I would share it today to give someone inspiration.
