Only 2 WEEKS to wait! The Longmont Airshow & Expo returns to the Vance Brand Municipal Airport on Sat, Sept 14. Admission is FREE. The air show will run from 11 am to 1 pm, but the event starts at 7 am with a pancake breakfast, historic and military aircraft displays, hands-on demonstrations, food trucks and a beer garden. Tomorrow & Saturday, come get educational recycling resources for community living! Recyling Resources Events are on Friday, Aug. 16 from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. at Union Pointe Apartments: 1605 E County Line Rd & Saturday, Aug. 17 from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at Watermark at Harvest Junction: 766 South Main St. Community members and families can come to each event to get educational waste sorting materials, focused on multifamily properties. Engage in waste conversation with City staff, Eco-Cycle, and Sustainable Resilient Longmont. Attendees will receive:

♻️ Educational recycling sorting materials

♻️ Countertop recycling bin that kids can decorate

♻️ A free ticket for food from a food truck vendor
