gratitude makes the world go ‘round ☻ i walked into the studio the other day and found this heartwarming token of gratitude from a lovely team.

!full transparency¡: this team rented out the space for an extremely discounted rate.

as a new studio, we have had a lot of start up costs which includes marketing which further includes letting people use the space for a discounted rate—sometimes even free. and tbh, the investment isn’t always returned. sometimes we are outright disrespected (a different post for later).

i created Xīnmade because i wanted to give marginalized communities access to the resources to help tell share their stories. so moments like this where people take the time to say thank you keeps me inspired to continue serving the people and causes i care about ⚡︎
