The Earthworm Players are a group of actors, directors and writers committed to presenting inspiring work while introducing the community to contemporary playwrights. Beau Mirchoff..In 2009 Beau landed the role of Danny Bolen on ABC's Desperate Housewives. In 2010 he snagged the role of Matty Mckibben on MTV's Awkward, having just wrapped their 4th season. He won a Teen Choice Award in 2012 for this portrayal. During the hiatuses from television Mirchoff focuses on the theatre: in 2012 he portrayed Treat in a production of Lyle Kessler's Orphans at the Hudson Theatre; in 2013 he played Kent in Neil Labute's Reason's to be Pretty at the MW Theatre. Other notable films include: Scary Movie 4, The Grudge 3, I am Number 4, and Poker Night alongside Ron Perlman, Giancarlo Esposito, Titus Welliver, and Ron Eldard. Josh Zuckerman..Josh has played leading roles in film genres ranging from comedy, (S*x Drive), to horror, (Feast), to drama, (The Hottest State). He has also appeared in TV series such as: Desperate Housewives, CSI Miami, Boston Legal, House, Kyle XY, NYPD Blue and 90210. His Los Angeles theater credits include: Women and Wallace, The Autumn Garden, and Juno and the Paycock. Jeanine Mason..Jeanine is most notable for her appearance as Cozette on ABC Family’s Bunheads. Mason won Season 5 of FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance and earned the title of America’s Favorite Dancer, becoming the youngest winner in the show’s history. Past TV credits include: You’re The Worst, Awkward, NCIS:LA, Major Crimes, CSI, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Big Time Rush, Hollywood Heights, and The Fresh Beat Band. Mason starred in recently released film Default opposite David Oyelowo. In 2012 Jeanine was nominated for Best Lead Actor at the Idllywild International Festival of Cinema for her work in the film Understudy. Amanda Fuller..first captured the hearts of audiences as intern Morgan Peterson on “Grey’s Anatomy.” In addition to her current series regular role on ABC’s “Last Man Standing,” she is also working on the indie thriller “Cheap Thrills,” alongside Ethan Embry, Sara Paxton, David Koechner and Pat Healy. She recently starred in “The Brittany Murphy Story” for Lifetime in September 2014. She has played captivating characters in over 35 television series, including “That ‘70s Show,” “The Practice,” “Life,” “Bones,” “Buffy: The Vampire Slayer,” “Without a Trace” and “Law & Order: SVU,” as well as various films made for television. In 2010, Fuller received critical acclaim for her award-winning performance in the independent thriller “Red White & Blue,” which premiered at the International Film Festival in Rotterdam and had its American premiere at the South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas. She had her directorial debut directing Tyler Williams in Kenneth Lonnergan’s “This is Our Youth,” and also recently produced her first music video for the talented Lindsey Haun and her band, The Haun Solo Project. Alex Sgambati ..is from Raleigh, North Carolina, and has loved acting since the womb. She regularly escapes to New York and binges on unhealthy amounts of theatre. If you feed her, she will be your loyal friend for life. Alex is currently shooting the feature film Butterfly Caught and recent credits include FOX's Red Band Society and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Katija Pevec..Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Katija started her career in musical theater. Discovered by a local casting director she was encouraged to move to Los Angeles to pursue acting. Upon arriving in Los Angeles, she immediately booked the leading role in the popular Air Bud film franchise as well as guest leads in the television series Medical Investigation and Cracking Up. Her break came with the MGM cult teen film Sleepover and followed that up with the hit Paramount film, Yours, Mine and Ours as the oldest daughter of Dennis Quaid. Continuing her film streak, she booked a highly coveted role in director Terry Zwigoff’s film Art School Confidential opposite Max Minghella and John Malkovich. Keeping her resume diverse, Katija was a series regular on the Nickelodeon series Just For Kicks about high school soccer players and co-starred in the action/drama Eagle Eye opposite Shia Labeouf and Michelle Monaghan. She more recently costarred in the thriller The Den and makes a guest appearance in the new webseries Pop UP. In her rare spare time Katija is a successful jewelry designer, creating under her Chloe+Rae line. She resides in Los Angeles. Morgan Phillips ..has a high school diploma. Although, his mom was REALLY pi**ed that he didn't put his middle name on it... it's Forbes, btw. That's right... Morgan Forbes Phillips. Morgan began his training at The Second City in Hollywood. After graduating from their Conservatory program, Morgan would go on to complete training programs at UCB and The Groundlings. You may recognize Morgan as the fraternity bad boy, Simon, from the hit CW series 90210. It was on that show that his character was drunk and/or high in every scene and was punched in the face in two separate episodes. Morgan will make his feature film debut next year alongside John Cusack and Elizabeth Banks as Paul Giamatti's son in the upcoming Beach Boys/Brian Wilson drama, Love & Mercy. John R. Colley..This is John's first reading with the Earthworm Players. Recent TV credits include: NCIS, Castle, and Criminal Minds. NY Theatre: Rickhardt (HB Playwrights Foundation), The Illusion (NYU Mainstage). And will appear in the upcoming feature August Falls starring Fairuza Balk. BFA NYU Tisch School of the Arts '10.
