We think you’ll love them. And while shoes may carry us, they’re not the thing that drives us. No, what drives us is a question. Like, how can we not just make things… but things that make us better? Can the way we make things, make us more independent in our thinking? Can it make us more unified? Can it make us more locally aware? Can it make us all a little, or even a lot, more present in the moment? In the right here? Because honestly, that’s what it all comes down to. We work and live right here. In Los Angeles. And we’re helping to foster a movement. One where a fresh business philosophy takes hold and interconnectedness catches on. Making our current place a better place. That’s what we’re about. Hello There. We’re COMUNITYmade.

COMUNITYmade is a catalyst for change. We believe in changing the way things have been done in the past to build a better future for our communities. We are changing the way business is conducted, by putting people before profits. We believe that people have the power to foster change by empowering each other to get involved in their community to do good things.

We are Handcrafting shoes locally in DTLA to fuel our mission of helping to rebuild the community, which includes the manufacturing community. For every pair of shoes we sell, we give $10 back to a local community initiative to support the Arts, Education or Ending Homelessness as directed by YOU at the point of purchase. We believe that each of us has the power to make a small difference each day by empowering others to be successful. By building stronger communities together, we believe the movement can spread city by city and then globally.
