Such a great mix of blooms …. I spy the cure for the end of Winter blues ….. Hellebores, when it’s in season it’s good!!!!!! It’s normally a winter bloom depending on your zone. But is also a Spring bloomer in the colder zones. Having it shipped from both zones gives us a longer season as a florist!!!!

Toot our horn Saturday …. 🥳🙌🏻 we got through the busiest floral season!!!! The prep for Valentines starts early January… if you do your prep, create a great system and are ready to roll with it once boxs of florals hit the back door .. it goes smooth!! But it takes a great team to execute the system put in place !!! We did and had all of the above !!

During our normal season we have a team of 7 . During Valentines we hire temporary help. This year our team consisted of 13!
We saw familiar faces come in and shop and heard familiar voices on the phone ordering . Our order online site was hopping and we met so many new Grayce customers .. lots of new faces!!!! We are growing and so proud. During the rush of it all I reminded myself to stop, look around …. The hustle was real, the team such a blessing , the happy customers coming in. Some waiting patiently as we restocked our floral design bar ! People were so complimentary. I am so thankful for it all !!!!! People have choices in Lubbock, these people choose Grayce !!
Each floral shop has its own style of design , customer service and floral varieties to choose from. We lean more towards the low and lush with less greenery and more imported novelty blooms. Yes we have the standard blooms as well but mixing in the novelties is our signature, luxury.
Our designers are truly artist and each piece is truly a work of art. We do not do the chop and drop at Grayce….

This year day after Valentines we helped our sister Floral design studio in DFW execute the Jason Witten man of the year award event at The Star along with an event at the new TTU School of Financial Planning / DFW location.

In saying all of this , I’m grateful for my team , and all of you reading this and your support. Building a business and seeing it not just thrive but flourish is a DREAM-

Now , for this Saturday I kept reminding everyone that was coming … during the hustle!

💕💕💕💕and it’s a wrap!!!!! What a run we had - A Valentines success story and the best yet!!! We are all exhausted by this picture !!! We love what we do ! We even made the news last night , thanks for coming by ♥️God has blessed Grayce with the best people. A team that works wonders together!! Missing two in this picture, they I guess were buried somewhere in the back !

Enjoying a quiet Sunday & the soothing task of getting lost in the flowers…. this time of the year life gets hectic!!!! The daily routine on top of all the prep work and pre ordering for Valentines can quickly spiral & become a vicious cycle!!!! I wanted a slow afternoon , and then time to make something pretty !!! The knowledge of balance in life, that comes with age …. is a wonderful thing!!
