I can’t think of a better year than 2023! I scaled back the amount of weddings I took because I wanted to be the best mom that I could. Gah, at one point I took about 19 events per year….whewww! Anyway, I’m so grateful to all of the couples and families that let us help plan their big day! We started of year off with Katie and Jesse and ended it with our amazing grooms Matthew and Dnxl! We had the most beautiful and fun wedding at Cheekwood for April and Josh, then who can forget Sam and Landon’s beautiful wedding pictured here?! Guyssss…my heart is overflowing with gratitude for everything 2023 brought. Thank you also to my clients for being patient with me as I was learning to balance being a new mom and running a business! Does anyone ever perfect this? It has been a true whirlwind, literally almost every single day, but I couldn’t be happier and for that….I am grateful! I hope you all have had a wonderful 2023 & hope that 2024 brings you so much joy!

Late Friday night/early Saturday morning, my dog of almost 15 years passed alway. He was the sweetest little rescue I have ever known. I’m completely devastated. Thank you for all of the memories we had together. Rest easy Hudson. I love you always 🐾

Being your mom for *almost* 3 months has been incredible. I’m so beyond blessed and I have no clue what I did to deserve you. I am not perfect and I know that I have a lot to learn. I get to witness all the moms at our events and see their bond, and I can’t wait to have that with my sweet little one! It has been a completely different thing juggling a child and a business but I am grateful to be here and to be learning daily. I would just like to say our bodies are incredible. Whoa, I can’t believe what I have been through during this journey! I also have the most amazing husband and partner. I don’t typically share my personal business on social media; BUT I have been growing a child and stepping into my next phase in life; and it has been absolutely incredible! I really thought motherhood passed me by. When you meet the right person, you just know! Anyway, this is my sweet little Ellaye (yes like L.A.) Elizabeth Hughey. Everyone welcome her to the world and pray for my husband 🤣 I went from never wanting children to wanting ALL of them 😂.

Introducing Kayla, our new assistant for Elizabeth A. Wright Events! Kayla is amazing & I am incredibly lucky to have her on my team!

“I’ve been with Elizabeth for the last couple of months working on the back end of things! I’m originally from the Kansas City area, but I’ve lived in Nashville for the last 3.5 years with my husband and our sweet 1 year old golden retriever. We are about to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary! I am also a full time nanny & house manager. My favorite places to be at when I’m not working are Bartaco, Hampton Social, and basically anywhere with a good brunch and a cute cocktail! Despite how stressful planning a wedding my seem, I really enjoyed putting together all the details for my own wedding and can’t wait to help do the same for our brides! Creating and organizing are two of my favorite things and I look forward to working with each of our couples and helping them plan their dream day!”

Put your hands up!!! It’s spring! I am super excited to be looking at new venues today for new clients! So many amazing venues have been built around the area! Don’t forget to look outside of Nashville if you want a green space with amazing views! Sometimes that can be hard to find in the city!.

How to have a bar 101: Tell the theme and invite friends and family: BOOM! Scroll through to see the fun drink names we came up with for I remember Hunter saying she and Cameron would always go to Radnor to walk after school (when they were in High School-so cute so adorable 😭❤️) so we named their adult beverages after local Nashville parks! made the most adorable sign and J. Jackson pulled out ALL the stops! They are who you want! Kelly is always so creative with drink ideas and is so great at sourcing things related to ANY theme! Claire’s calligraphy always adds the most perfect touch to my events as well! It’s the little details that make an event special ❤️.

Get ready for photo overload over the next few days! Helping come to life for for Remy’s 1st Birthday was an absolute BLAST! It was such a fun theme, the most perfect weather, the best food and amazing drinks! Can’t wait to share more along with the entire incredible vendor team! I know I always say this; but I am so thankful to be living this creative life!! Thankful for my clients and families that place their trust in me to handle some of life’s biggest moments ❤️ Side note; at my first property walk through, Remy was just pulling himself up and by the time the party was here; he was walking! Can’t wait to see this sweet one grow! He is a happy boy with the most awesome family!! .
