Hadn’t been in years so decided to check out yesterday. I had the spinach queso, blackened salmon with red smashed potatoes and brussels, tried the key lime pie but was really in love with the carrot cake❗️I took several cups of the fruit tea home 👉🏽 SEVERAL 😂😂😂 It has sweet tea, cranberry, and pineapple juice in it 🔥 👌🏽👌🏽 😩😩

Homemade Filet O Fish 👉🏽 Fresh Cod soaked in buttermilk and egg mixture and fried in White Corn Meal self-rising white flour, and Italian breadcrumbs, sea salt fresh cracked black pepper, and smoked paprika. Week 2 of hotel life, how I am surviving eating out all the time and continuing my at home routines 👉🏽 I bottled my own milk, stocked fridge with water, oranges, blueberries, strawberries, salad and sandwich ingredients, yogurt & granola, cereal, meal prepped 3 meals, and brought my own snacks. I grilled my tortilla first put it in a skillet, topped it with guacamole from a 🇵🇷 avocado, sautéed cherry tomatoes, red onions, whipped 3 eggs with half n half and feta topped with muenster cheese and baked for 30 mins 🔥

In Puerto Rico you can find on every shelf, and in every vending machine. Although has a huge presence on the island, to the natives it may be just as equal. “Malta India is a non-alcoholic, low sodium, delicious malt beverage that is both refreshing and nutritious from Puerto Rico which is said to give you energy. It is a carbonated malt beverage also called kids beer, wheat soda or young beer.” 🇵🇷

Did you know that has an entire event space in Puerto Rico along with music hall—tons of restaurants, live DJ, live bands and good music. I stopped in I had some amazing pastellitos, nachos, wings and curly fries. On my second visit I went to and tried all the Puerto Rico favorites quesito frita, mini alcapurrias, empanadillas, and arepas de camarones 🤞🏽🔥 Check this place out on your next visit❗️

Yesterday afternoon I finally made it to San Juan Puerto, RICCCOO and let me tell you what an adventure in just the first few hours. Flight from Nashville to Orlando was full so I changed it and flew to Tampa, my bags didn’t initially get on flight I transferred to 🤦🏽♀️ lol but was quickly resolved. I found myself looking for food so I went to 👉🏽 I had a guava and cheese pastry—the pastry was flaky buttery and sugary like a traditional quesito in PR but the cream cheese should have been whipped with the guava jelly and evenly spread, unfortunately I had a BLOCK of congealed cream cheese on inside BEST double cappuccino EVER maybe it was the raw sugar, the simple syrup, the frothy milk or that selectively sourced coffee either way I’ll be back and I’m willing to try the pastries again❗️4/5 ⭐️’s 😏

I had a blast Dessert Wars today❗️ Thank you for the opportunity ❗️Y’all know me as a “savory chef” but I can also bake and make sweets too, today I gave out samples of two of my ice cream flavors ChocoLOT and Cookies & Cream Overload. It was a good opportunity for exposure and for feedback on my product, next time I’ll be better and much bigger than I was but today I am proud to know that I stepped outside of my comfort zone and it was an arena I never thought I’d step foot in. Shout out to all the winners and @mrbakesweets Jamal Bake who was an amazing host and has always been a great support system to me, hope to see you in DC soon❗️Love y’all, until next time❗️ 🤟🏽

I always wondered what it was like to be rich and rent out an entire restaurant, difference is I didn’t have to pay to do it lol #bigflex one couple at the bar and the place was EMPTY but that didn’t discourage me from getting what I came for. I walked 2 miles for this food lol the wings were SUPERB❕❕ I had the kung pao and 24K gold flavor ALL FLATS (yes they accommodated me)🔥 w/ the white cheddar jalapeño poppers. I wanted to try the wagyu beef chilli dog, flaming hot cheetoh pickle fries, and the funnel cake fries (don’t judge me) but I will be back😂😂😂. Roots Wine Bar HTX What an experience, dispense my own wine you say?! If I lived in Houston I’d be here at least once a week 🤔 lol that might be a problem. Blue Sushi Sake Grill OMG the best sushi I’ve ever had—the Iguana and LA Crunch rolls w/ sou paper. Maybe that’s why I never made the leap, HTX would have me even more bourgeoisie than I already am! 😂😂 I just discovered there is a location in Nashville too—might be worth the battle into getting in/out of downtown. Hiring a chef should be simple, thank you Nazca for making it easy on us! She contacted me told me EXACTLY what she wanted, paid in full, and we didn’t speak until 2 days before her event, showed up and the door was unlocked they only interacted during meal times and we let them work while we did the same! We did breakfast and lunch with all of their dietary restrictions in mind no sesame seeds, kosher, no pork, and vegan/vegetarian options.
