Did you know that @tmobile has an entire event space in Puerto Rico along with @cocacola music hall—tons of restaurants, live DJ, live bands and good music. I stopped in @arenamedalla I had some amazing pastellitos, nachos, wings and curly fries. On my second visit I went to @sazon_pr and tried all the Puerto Rico favorites quesito frita, mini alcapurrias, empanadillas, and arepas de camarones 🤞🏽🔥 Check this place out on your next visit❗️
From the fully equipped airbnb to the beaches, to my 1st road trip to coamo hot springs to eating ice cream out the back of a makeshift ice cream truck AKA a trunk 😂 to buying fruit off the street to getting some of the best arroz con gandules here is a snippet of what my first 24 hours looked like in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷❗️
Headed to San Juan
Yesterday afternoon I finally made it to San Juan Puerto, RICCCOO and let me tell you what an adventure in just the first few hours. Flight from Nashville to Orlando was full so I changed it and flew to Tampa, my bags didn’t initially get on flight I transferred to 🤦🏽♀️ lol but was quickly resolved. I found myself looking for food so I went to 👉🏽 @cafeconlechetpa I had a guava and cheese pastry—the pastry was flaky buttery and sugary like a traditional quesito in PR but the cream cheese should have been whipped with the guava jelly and evenly spread, unfortunately I had a BLOCK of congealed cream cheese on inside BEST double cappuccino EVER maybe it was the raw sugar, the simple syrup, the frothy milk or that selectively sourced coffee either way I’ll be back and I’m willing to try the pastries again❗️4/5 ⭐️’s 😏
Dessert Wars 2024
I had a blast Dessert Wars today❗️ Thank you for the opportunity ❗️Y’all know me as a “savory chef” but I can also bake and make sweets too, today I gave out samples of two of my ice cream flavors ChocoLOT and Cookies & Cream Overload. It was a good opportunity for exposure and for feedback on my product, next time I’ll be better and much bigger than I was but today I am proud to know that I stepped outside of my comfort zone and it was an arena I never thought I’d step foot in. Shout out to all the winners and @mrbakesweets Jamal Bake who was an amazing host and has always been a great support system to me, hope to see you in DC soon❗️Love y’all, until next time❗️ 🤟🏽

I always wondered what it was like to be rich and rent out an entire restaurant, difference is I didn’t have to pay to do it lol #bigflex one couple at the bar and the place was EMPTY but that didn’t discourage me from getting what I came for. I walked 2 miles for this food lol the wings were SUPERB❕❕ I had the kung pao and 24K gold flavor ALL FLATS (yes they accommodated me)🔥 w/ the white cheddar jalapeño poppers. I wanted to try the wagyu beef chilli dog, flaming hot cheetoh pickle fries, and the funnel cake fries (don’t judge me) but I will be back😂😂😂. The bears game was on, the strawberry lemonade was lemonading❕ I took half my order back to the room so they couldn’t see me licking the hell outta my fingers 😏😂😂🔥🔥🔥 Dirty Bones 📍 Dallas, TX

Roots Wine Bar HTX What an experience, dispense my own wine you say?! If I lived in Houston I’d be here at least once a week 🤔 lol that might be a problem. Blue Sushi Sake Grill OMG the best sushi I’ve ever had—the Iguana and LA Crunch rolls w/ sou paper. Maybe that’s why I never made the leap, HTX would have me even more bourgeoisie than I already am! 😂😂 I just discovered there is a location in Nashville too—might be worth the battle into getting in/out of downtown. I can’t wait to come back! ♥️🤘🏽

Hiring a chef should be simple, thank you Nazca for making it easy on us! She contacted me told me EXACTLY what she wanted, paid in full, and we didn’t speak until 2 days before her event, showed up and the door was unlocked they only interacted during meal times and we let them work while we did the same! We did breakfast and lunch with all of their dietary restrictions in mind no sesame seeds, kosher, no pork, and vegan/vegetarian options. If you are wanting a simple hassle free experience, you also have to deliver the same. 🙏🏽 They came all the way from Chicago and showed us nothing but love and respect! ❤️ Oh and BTW it wasn’t complete without the JUNGLE PEANUTS 😜 😉 get them NOW Foods Alive use CHEFRAECOOKS upon checkout for 20% off❗️
