Our community has lost Todd Johnson of Foothill Flowers. Every nonprofit in Nevada County and beyond has benefited in some way from the kindness and support of Foothill Flowers. Our hearts are with the entire Foothill Flowers family and we offer our sincerest condolences. Thank you for always bringing the beautiful flowers.

I saw this idea somewhere, I hope whoever came up with it gets due credit. Great idea! Our neighbor is older and lives alone so I gave her 3 colour pieces of paper for her window which faces our kitchen window. Green is for I'm OK, yellow for need help with an errand, and red for emergency. I call it Isolation Communication 🙂 Let's all look out for each other people.

Wow. This is Sunday nights 99.9% waxing moon rise over Mount Rainier. The incredible capture was by Debbie Heyer. She said, “It was so cool watching it roll up the left side of the mountain.”

Mount Rainier, also known as Tahoma, is a large active stratovolcano in the Cascade Range of the Pacific Northwest in the United States. The mountain is located in Mount Rainier National Park about 59 miles south-southeast of Seattle.
