Ok so here it is. Submissions for the 2nd Park Slope Comedy Fest are now open. It's a Google form with just a few questions. There will only be a flat fee of 15$ this year payable through PayPal. This years festival will take place October 1st through the 7th. If you have any questions send us a message here. Good Luck!!!

Meet Jeena Bloom

One year ago, Jeena Bloom came out to the world both as a lady and as a comic. Since then, she has performed at NYC comedy clubs such as the New York Comedy Club, Duplex Lounge and Cabaret and Caroline's. She directed and hosted in Chance for a Spinster, an improv dating game show set in the 1860s and performed in last summer's Del Close Marathon. Over the past year, she has been profiled in New York Magazine and appeared in a documentary on vice.com.

Meet Joe Messina

Joe Messina is a stand up comedian from Philadelphia, PA. He is a regular host at Helium Comedy Club and Good Good Comedy Theater and has appeared in several festivals including the Finger Lakes Comedy Festival in Ithaca, NY, and the Mutiny Radio Comedy Festival in San Francisco. Joe was also featured on the 2016 Liberty Tour in Philadelphia and Denver.

Joe's Comedy has been described as cerebral, intellectual, and sanctimonious. Often political, relentlessly logical, and unabashedly moralizing, Joe leaves even those who disagree with him horrified that they're still laughing.

Meet Adam Gabel

Adam Gabel is quickly gaining attention in the New York Comedy Scene as "The Guy with The Voice and The Hat". A regular on Comedy's Best Kept Secret Tour, Adam's quick wit, charming stage presence and off kilter delivery have garnered frequent comparisons to Mitch Hedberg and Steven Wright. The Brooklyn Native is one of the core group of Featured Writers on Comedywire.com and most recently won the 2016 Make Me Laugh Festival in Albany. When not performing or writing new material, Adam can be found in Fort Green Park feeding hipster pigeons Quinoa.

Meet Thiago Macklin

Thiago Macklin is a stand-up comedian and writer who was born on the sunny beaches of Rio De Janeiro, Brazil and raised in the frozen metropolis of Chicago, Illinois. He has performed at festivals such as the Devil’s Cup Comedy Competition, the Laughing Devil Comedy Festival and the Trial By Laughter Comedy Festival. Recently Thiago had the amazing opportunity to write jokes for none other than Mick Jagger to use on tour with The Rolling Stones. Currently he lives and performs stand-up in New York City. He consistently wows audiences with his hilarious observational, absurdist and improvisational style.

Meet Erick Hellwig

Erick is a stand up-comedian, actor, and writer performing in New York City. He has performed in the Boston Comedy Arts Festival & the Harlem Comedy Festival and has studied with The Second City, The Peoples Improv Theater and The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. You may have seen him in the TV projects Greatest Party Story Ever and Truth or Dare (MTV), A&E, Going Ape (Nat Geo), numerous new media projects, commercials for Subway, Gas-X, Ally Bank & V-Tech, or performing live comedy in cities all along the east coast. He also has written for for Money From Strangers (MTV) and Funny or Die. Erick is also the co-host of the weekly stand-up comedy show Barely Making It at The Creek and the Cave in NYC.

He's appeared on "Who Wants to be a Millionaire", "Brain Games" and the Meredith Veira Show. Most importantly, he perfers a pool over a beach.

Uniquely charming and hilarious, Bronx native Melissa Diaz uses her sharp wit to tackle everything from the world as hologram to the impossible price of ci******es. A unique and rising talent in the New York City comedy scene, she's a house regular at Caroline’s on Broadway, was a finalist at the 2017 Devil Cup competition and a semi-finalist in 2017's March Madness Comedy Competition at Caroline's on Broadway. If only she could stop losing her phone.

Meet Leif Oleson-Cormack
Leif Oleson-Cormack is a comedian, playwright, and game writer originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He was the lead writer for The Low Road, a point-and-click adventure game which launched this summer on Steam. His play, Dead Peasants was the winner of the Samuel French Canadian Playwriting Award and is available on Amazon and some very obscure bookstores. Other work of his has been performed at Signature Theatre, The Juilliard School, The Edmonton Fringe Festival, Shadow Theatre, Northern Light Theatre, Sage Theatre, and The Enbridge PlayRites Festival.

Maggi Mayfield is an East Coast born and raised comedian who happens to be obsessed with radio! She is on the air in Dallas and produces a show in Los Angeles currently (her home base).She runs two shows in LA and performs all over the country. When she isn't flappin her gums, Maggi really enjoys running, hiking, and belting out 80's songs in her favorite karaoke spot!

Meet Geoff Plitt

Geoff Plitt is a stand up comedian & writer based out of Los Angeles . He's made appearances on some of Los Angeles most prestigious stages such as the Hollywood Improv, Comedy Store, Westside Comedy Theater, and the Upright Citizens Brigade. Geoff has performed at the Ventura, Laughlin, Toronto, and Chicago comedy festivalsl. Geoff is a co-founder of Peachy Keen, a weekly stand-up showcase that has been a staple in the LA comedy scene for over 6 years. Geoff has performed along side some of the biggest names in comedy such as Louis CK, Sarah Silverman, Kevin Nealon, TJ Miller & Demetri Martin. His TV appearances include a feature in the final episode of Disney's Hannah Montana, acting opposite Miley Cyrus and Jay Leno. Geoff's first feature film "Paranormal Whacktivity" can be seen on Netflix & iTunes. Catch Geoff performing weekly on Peachy Keen at Bar Lubitch in West Hollywood California.

Brooklyn native Drew Dowdey is an up and coming comedian who has been doing comedy for 5 years. It's hard to describe his style but, he was once told by a fan that he reminded them of a "hood chris rock." Definitely an act to look out for. This kid's going places.

Sarah Hartshorne

Sarah Hartshorne grew up in Western Massachusetts and came to NYC after appearing as the plus-size contestant on Cycle 9 of America's Next Top Model. Afterwards, she enjoyed a surpringly un-lucrative career as a plus-size Oktoberfest lingerie model in Germany. All of this has shaped her comedy and she's performed all over NYC, as well as at Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She was voted funniest comedian under 25 when she was 26.

Meet the comics of the 1st Park Slope Comedy Festival. Taking place October 9th through the 15th in Park Slope Brooklyn.

This is Zenobia Del Mar
Boston born, Zenobia Del Mar first hit the comedy stage in Brooklyn. She then went on to hone her funny on stages in LA, Vegas, NY and Boston all within her first year as a performer.

Her credits include The Boston Comedy Festival, Caroline’s, Laugh Boston, The Comedy Studio, The Comedy Store, Ice House and LA’s bygone “Hell room” Big Fish.

Now back in Boston she performs all over New England and works with Funny 4 Funds and MOAR comics for recovery. She will be recording her first half-hour October 26 in Maine at Portland's Laugh Shack.
