Just a few years back, quitting my regular job to spin full time as a DJ seemed absurd. Teenage me would’ve laughed even harder at the thought of this being my late 30s reality.

Life’s been a wild ride of twists, turns, ups, and downs, with multiple career changes along the way. If you’re still finding your path, that’s cool.

When life throws curveballs, trust it’s all part of the journey. And hey, if you’ve got a dream shelved somewhere, dust it off. It’s never too late to give it another shot! 🎶

When you think of a guy like , this is the mentality he embodied.

The constant pursuit to be slightly better than you were the day before. As a DJ, my quest is never-ending—from countless hours of practice to finding new music and organizing my library, the drive to improve never stops.

Books like “Atomic Habits,” which I highly recommend, talk about this exact principle.

And when you look at the “Mamba Mentality” that Kobe lived by, it’s really one and the same.

Ultimately, it’s your dedication to the process that will determine your progress. Consistency is always key!

You get to choose to be just 1% better today than you were yesterday.

It’s the compound effect of improving one day at a time, or 1% better, that leads to greatness.

Remember, whatever your dream is, work on it daily to become the best version of yourself you can be. As for me, my story is just beginning.

“I get to dress up every weekend, become part of your family or brand and through artistry and passion I get to curate the perfect atmosphere and energy through music & lighting. I then get to create the most memorable dance party of the year. The only question I have… Why did I wait so long to do this?” 😉

When it comes to DJing, and consistently honing your craft, there’s ONE thing that’s more important than anything else...

It’s more crucial than the gear you use or the gigs you book. It’s something that can’t be bought, but its value is immeasurable...

✅ Understanding that consistency beats perfection. Every time.

We DJs aren’t known for our patience (generally speaking), and when it comes to our art, many of us have an all-or-nothing mindset...

We’re either ON or OFF.

When we’re ON, we strive for flawless performances, seamless transitions, no missed beats...

But when something throws us OFF our game, we can spiral into self-doubt and frustration.

A technical glitch can escalate into a full-blown disaster, a missed cue can derail an entire set...

Here’s the truth: If you want to thrive, you have to accept that perfection is elusive.

What matters most is your ability to bounce back, adapt, and keep pushing forward!

DJing is a journey, so stop fixating on perfection, and focus on consistent improvement...

Be Patient. Be Persistent. Don’t dwell on setbacks. You’ll reach your peak.

Throwback to when it all began! 🎵 At 16, I was a magician at Webster Hall. One fateful night, the DJ didn’t show up, and I was asked to run home and grab CDs. That moment sparked my love for DJing, leading me to save up for the latest records every week.

I’ll never forget the day I got my first turntables—I was completely clueless but eager to learn. Fast forward to today, and those same turntables I still have those very same turntables today.

My journey continued as a lighting technician at Show nightclub, now known as Nebula. Here, I had the privilege of meeting incredible DJs who helped shape the artist I am today. From holding residencies in NYC’s vibrant nightlife to branching out into corporate events and weddings, the passion remains the same.

🌟 What would I say to my younger self? 🌟

If I could turn back time, here are a few things I wish I could tell the younger me:

1️⃣ Take a deep breath and calm the heck down. We’re often pushed to achieve from a young age, but life doesn’t always follow a straight path. Trust that it’ll work out better than you imagine.

2️⃣ There’s never a perfect time for anything. Embrace uncertainty—it’s where growth happens!

3️⃣ Relationships matter. Invest time and effort in nurturing connections; they’re one of life’s greatest treasures.

4️⃣ Don’t let the fear of judgment hold you back from pursuing your dreams.
