Louis Armstrong's Wonderful World - July 16, 2016 - A rich curation of music, art, and food celebrating the life and legacy of Louis Armstrong.

Down the road from Louis Armstrong’s home and at the site of the World’s Fair, Queens now has a festival worthy of Louis’ immense cultural legacy and the Wonderful World he celebrated in his music. The festival showcases Louis Armstrong's influence on a variety of musical genres and staying true to his mantra that "you gotta listen to all types of music." The festival’s Backyard Bash will feature

family friendly activities throughout the park, recreating the memorable garden parties that Louis hosted for his friends and neighbors at his home in Corona where he lived for almost 30 years.
