Sermon for November 8, 2020
From Pastor Tim: As many of you know, we experienced audio problems with our live stream yesterday morning. Unfortunately those problems could best be described as a catastrophic failure—meaning there wasn't anything we could do until after worship had ended. Thankfully we corrected the issue and will move forward with live streaming next Sunday.
In the meantime, I have re-recorded the sermon from yesterday, which you can watch by clicking the image above. (Because of our Bach Vespers recording session yesterday, I wasn't able to do that until this morning.) Read the Gospel here: http://bible.oremus.org/?ql=471946025. Despite such difficulty yesterday, I hope this brings you a bit of good news today.
Thank you for your patience and good cheer 😃

As Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, New York City prepares to return to in-person worship this fall, we don't want to leave anyone out due to health, mobility, work schedules, or geography.
We're investing $20,000 in what Pastor Tim is calling Virtual Worship 2.0, that is, acquiring new live streaming equipment AND preparing for the arrival of our new Director of Music Diane Meredith Belcher, which will both expand and enhance our online worship in exciting ways.
Would you support this effort? http://www.tinyurl.com/htlivestream
Whether you’ve been Holy Trinity a thousand times or have just joined this community for worship in the last 23 weeks, you can give a gift that will help our online worship ministry continue - knowing that you've played a part.
