This weekend was awesome… in Burbank for HEAT Orientation… taking classes with an amazing faculty including Marty Kudelka who will turn around and come to North Platte in 11 days and teach our dancers! To top off Quinn and Colin performing and training with the Hip Hop Crew and Paige performing and working with the National Assistants, we also met up with Lihi who is coming to LA2NE and took some incredible classes with Comfort (hip hop), Stanley (ballet), Orialis (tap), Kavita (Bollywood), Angelica (contemporary) and an audition class with Teddy Forance of CLI Conservatory. Quinn received a scholarship from CLI for their summer program… it was a great weekend and we can’t wait for LA2NE in a couple weeks!

What a great kick off to the season… KAR dance convention in Omaha! One day of classes with a great faculty! And at the end of the day, Quinn and Colin won Protege Winner and Runner-Up! So proud of this group for working so hard today - Michael, Ryan, Abigail, Kallie, Quinn and Colin. And a special shout out to our new teacher/coach, Brooklyn, for attending her first convention and doing such an amazing job, taking classes in the senior room all day!

So excited!!! Our line up for LA2NE is complete and our 4th instructor is Yadiel! He is currently in the Cirque du Soliel Show Michael Jackson One in Las Vegas (and he had to get permission from Cirque to come to LA2NE!)... he will be teaching a Contemporary Fusion class and an Improvisational class! He is looking forward to joining us in Nebraska! You can still get registered!

Yay! It's time for the little kids to have some fun! Preschool Open Playtime at Legacy Dance & Gymnastics! Starts October 3rd! And a fun bonus - we are starting a Primary Gymnastics Class from 11:15-12:00 after the Open Play is over - so if you are from out of town or just enjoy doing activities in the morning then this is a great opportunity for your little one! Open Playtime is 9:30-11:00 and then you can get registered for the Primary Gymnastics from 11:15-12:00! Message for more info!

Legacy is mourning the loss of Grandma Sue… the funeral is Friday and it will be a hard day for Miss Janna and her family (the kids Grandma and one of Miss Janna’s best friends and supporters) … Grandma Sue was a light and joy to generations of Legacy dancers and gymnasts. She started supporting and cheering on dancers back in 2006 and didn’t stop until her heart literally gave out. She was at every recital twice a year for 18 years… cheering on her grandkids… and all her adopted grandkids. She left a Legacy of love behind, and if she ever told you she was praying for you… she was. She left too soon, but she would want you to know - she loves you and she is proud of you. ❤️❤️❤️
