Tonite is the last dance y'all. Thanks to everyone who supported us during the past year and on a sincere personal note huge thanks to our incredible staff that tried so hard to keep this independent venue alive during these trying times. The bartenders and barbacks, the lighting and sound crew, our security staff and box office crew, our marketing guru and CFO, the management team and owner - I'm proud to have been part of such a great crew that frankly a lot of you in the comments have the wrong impression on. We've got two great parties on site tonite with tickets still available but it'll be free in the social club, come have one last drink and say goodbye...we'd really love to see you.

Our Care Village is coming up soon and we're hosting a night of fine wining to help raise funds for tents and supplies! This Thursday we'll have a fresh line-up of natural wines for one night only and 100% of wine sales will go towards purchasing supplies for our Care Village this month! We'll be accepting donations as well - donations of clothes or non-perishable foods will get a free drink and donations of new or gently used tents will get a pair of tickets to an upcoming show (some restrictions apply - can't get ya in to something already sold out, sorry!) We'll have Chef Malong in house serving peanut stew from Cameroon and DJs Crudo and Steady Fives will be playing reggae, dub, post-punk, and dancehall til close! Come thruuuuuuuuu

It is with a heavy heart, and a genuine desire to share the morning with the musician community that we serve, that we remember with fondness and gratitude two musicians that have been taken from us before their time. Rich Armstrong - was a kind and playful spirit left an impression on everyone he met. Our condolences go to his daughter, his partner and his community who are outpouring right now with grief and fond anecdotes of his existence.

Dave Bullers - - Another horn player of in-measurable talent and loved by his community also passed today leaving the musician community scratching its head.
The starline sends it’s condolences to both families, and we will miss them every time the horns come in.

Everyone please stay safe and healthy, and be kind to others. There is only one life to live and we must enjoy every minute of it.

Victor is a 21 year-old Mexican-American recording artist from Chicago, Illinois making alt-pop and R&B. Victor started producing songs at 16 with an old computer and a borrowed microphone. Releasing his first song in 2017, Victor’s music challenges and discusses the duality of being a first-gen Mexican-American to a Mexican single mom, and discovery of his identity. His sometimes sweet and confessional music spans across genres, from enveloping love songs to hard-edged tracks that address his trying upbringing on the Southside of Chicago.
