Moving Through Conversation✨ is a practice of movement and healthful engagement through dialogue. The intention behind this practice is to collectively hold space for one another in the safety of our community following a yoga flow. We often confront discomfort within our practice much like we experience in conversation. Yet the goal always is to work through the resistance, to trust yourself, to reflect on what is coming up, to release what doesn’t serve you, to build upon the information you received.

Cooking Mushrooms is not a new thing for me.
Growing up eating Chinese food we had MUSHROOMS 🍄 , FROM loving all kinds of food, also going to culinary school, learning from other chefs, and also working at some pretty dope restaurants that ordered from when I worked for Marlowe restaurant.

Mushrooms have always been apart of life for food.

Mushrooms can be used for so many different things in many different ways NOT JUST A MEAT REPLACEMENT! 🤦🏽‍♀️

I’m like can folks just eat some food. Without labels, replacement for other meals.

Enjoy the life of food!!

Meeting Community where they are at.

We create meals for our Ghost Town community- meeting them@where that are at. Offering foods they will eat with more flavors.

Yes I Offer plant based food,
But one thing I’ve always considered when doing my best to convert a community that is addictive to high sugary, high fatty, and high meat content food - it’s important for me to meet them where they are at.

at HOPE we believe that those closest to the problem are closest to the solutions, and we especially saw this through the pandemic and all the mutual aid food efforts that were getting people fed.

Today we share our approach to creating the food system we want to have, one that serves all! We have a vision for the next two years that’s full of partnerships with the food businesses and neighbors who already have the skills and know the need. Our goal is to get connect them with resources.
