We are a premiere hunter/jumper show barn training and boarding facility. As you browse through our photos, you will notice the quality of care for our facility, horses, clients, and students. We are very competitive in various arenas of the hunter/jumper world. In the 2014 show season alone we have achieved various accomplishments with our students including:
IEA Regional High Point Team - Middle

School
IEA Regional Reserve High Point Team - High School
IHSA Regional Reserve High Point Team - UF Hunt Seat Equestrian Team

Kimberden has trained individual riders who have competed on the National Level in both IEA and IHSA as well as 2 HITS - Ocala Circuit Division Champions. We are proud of the trainers, staff, students, parents, and horses who work hard together to produce our recipe for success. We train riders at all levels of training from children's lead line through Adult Grand Prix. Please contact us if you are interested in becoming a part of our team! IEA - Interscholastic Equestrian Team: Team Kimberden competes in both the Middle and High School Levels with a team composed of students from all around the Central Florida Area. Team members who are out of the immediate Ocala area are welcome. Those students are able to train at their "home" barns on a regular basis with a minimum amount of required lessons at our facility. IHSA - Intercollegiate Horse Show Association: Kimberden is the proud home of the University of Florida Hunt Seat Equestrian Team. This is considered a "Club" sport at UF and any student is welcome to join. Our team members range from beginners who enjoy coming for the occasional lesson to our competitive Varsity Team which travels to various colleges throughout the region during the show season. “Parents, let your daughters grow up to be horse girls, because they will learn quickly and repeatedly that life isn’t fair, that hard work is often trumped by Lady Luck, and that every defeat, no matter how terrible, is temporary. Let them dream big and kick on. Let them learn confidence, grace and grit. Let them build big muscles and strong backs.

Let your daughters grow up in the barn. Let them learn that buckets need filling and stalls need cleaning, even when it’s raining, even when it’s frozen, even when they have a different idea for how the day should go.

Let them set goals and reach them. Let them set goals and fail miserably. Let them learn that, if they work incredibly hard, practice like hell, ride the best quality horse they can and take impeccable care of him, they’re sometimes going to get beat by someone with 10 times the money and one tenth the drive.

Teach them to drive trucks and trailers and ATVs. Teach them to change tires and wrap legs and give shots. And let them leave a spur mark, or a bit rub, or a bandage bow, and let them deal with the shame of causing pain to an animal they love.

Let them grow up with horses and with good horse people, because it will teach them to be humble, and to be resilient, and to be brave.”

Congratulations to our riders on a successful start of WEC summer circuit! We are looking forward to the next few months of showing!

& Jaguar placed 12th in the derby with top ribbons in the combined A/O Division and 3rd in the classic
_eq & For Goodness had a successful start moving up and getting reserve champion in the .90/.95 and ending circuit champion from winter circuit

had great rides in the 3’6” performance hunters with Chaco ricco and Hollywood and ended 3rd and 5th in the 3’6”/3’9” derby respectively

Very excited for this new pair and quattro cento to succeed in the jumper ring

Our new pair & eye witness earned champion in the low children’s hunter

The kittens we have been raising in the office are now on the loose during the day 😊 Please drive slowly through the property as they navigate their new surroundings. As a visitor you now have the opportunity of meeting all 10 of our barn kitties. We have Monday through Sunday, Butterfinger, Linus and Lucy. I call them the crazy cat lady starter pack 🤣
