One mistake my retreat hosts make when planning their retreat!

Not validating their offer before building it.

Since I support existing and aspiring retreat hosts I have seen a little bit of everything, but this is one that stands out to me in a big way.

The shiny object of I can do this and the thought of hosting a retreat experience gets them excited so they just go at it alone and dive in headfirst into all the wrong things.

Booking the location, tossing out a number without the budget strategy, and just tossing out the retreat offer without strategically planning first.

A little about me!

My friend and client is described as the Driver of Visions for Luxurious Women and I am still working on fully owning it. 👊

- I am a business strategist for badass women who want to take while making a massive impact in the world all the while designing a business that serves their life and not the other way around.

- Cacao, popcorn, reading, nature, and traveling are a few of my favs.

- Enneagram 3 Wing 2 (If you know me this doesn't surprise you)

- I have been executing luxury events and retreats Reach Retreat for over 7+ years and hold 9 awards and over 50 five-star reviews. (That feels pretty badass and insane to type)💕

- I dove head first into motherhood at 17 years old and made it a personal mission to crush the statistics.

- My husband Preston of 7 years and best friend of 21 years and I have three amazing teenagers Kora, Tryston, and Leah.

- My ability to pivot has played a massive role in where I am today. I mean as a planner and a type A lady this is not an easy task but I would say I have mastered it.

What type of retreats can I host?

Various types of retreats can be hosted, depending on the purpose and focus of the retreat. Some common types of retreats we see

Include:

Business/Entrepreneur Retreats: Like These retreats allow entrepreneurs to step away and focus on their personal and professional goals. These retreats normally focus on areas of personal growth and business strategy, marketing/branding, sales, and more. They also allow for incredible connections and resources.

Wellness Retreats: These retreats focus on promoting physical and mental well-being through activities such as yoga, meditation, spa treatments, and healthy meals.

Spiritual Retreats: These retreats provide individuals with an opportunity to deepen their spiritual practice and connect with their inner selves. They often involve meditation, prayer, introspection, and teachings from spiritual leaders or mentors.

Yoga Retreats: These retreats revolve around practicing and learning yoga in a serene and peaceful environment. They may include yoga classes, workshops, and meditation sessions.
