Advocacy for Women Owned Businesses: In a bi-partisan manner, we met with congresswoman Sharice David’s staffer for a meeting advocating for small business.

Our topics included four agenda items:
1. Proposed bill language to address the needs of “Microbusiness” and encouraging emerging entrepreneurs.
2. Workforce.
3. Accessing Capital through increased financial literacy education and digital tools.
4. Caring for business owners and their employees.

When your kid starts Kindergarten, the PTA hosts a gathering for the parents on the first day of school, just after you drop your child off at class. They call this gathering “Woo-hoo! Coffee” or “Boo-hoo Coffee,” depending on how one parent feels about their kid starting Kindergarten.

We have some exciting news to share! Training Umbrella St. Louis is now open!

The facility has roughly 10,000 square feet of classrooms and computer labs available to rent for you and your company’s needs. The facility is visible from the St. Louis airport, just a few blocks away, and has 100+ parking spaces in a shared lot. Our building is ADA accessible, has an elevator, and a total of 6 meeting rooms.

Each room rental includes screens/projectors, internet (WIFI or hard connection), as well as complimentary coffee, soda, tea, water and more! You can rent rooms by the hour, day, week, or month, depending on your requirements.

Training Umbrella St. Louis is now open and has roughly 10,000 square feet of classrooms and computer labs available!

Kansas Connections Academy (KCA) is a tuition- free public online schooling system for the state of Kansas. They work with families from Wichita to Topeka to Parsons, offering a flexible at-home program for kids K-12! One of our most recent contracts was actually with the largest, private, healthcare provider in America. They train and onboard hospital staff of all kinds- RN’s, CNA’s, ICU, NICU, the lot! This company has been a client of ours for almost 8 years. They’ve been renting meeting rooms from us, but as of February 1st we have expanded the relationship significantly.

Something you may not know about Training Umbrella is the fact that we, along with being a corporate meeting space, offer thousands of tests for schools and companies around the country. One of the tests we offer that I am especially passionate about is CLEP testing.

CLEP stands for College Level Examination Program, and for over 50 years they have offered introductory level college course testing for those that feel like they know the course material enough to test out of the class. Essentially, taking a test to pass a college course, at the fraction of the price it would cost to take it at universities.

They want everything face-to-face and in person, but they have 30 people located across the United States. They wanted this team trained on the same software, at the same time and in person.
