Everyone has been asking, “Where is the ? Where has it been?” Unfortunately, our has been down since June of this year and needs significant repairs.

In order to get the truck back up and running, it’s going to cost 12K since it needs a new engine. I hope to raise at least 12K to get the parts my truck needs. And it's risky because we've tried to replace the engine before and it doesn't last long. There's no guarantee how long it will last, and I will be back in the same position.

A new truck will ensure the long-term success of Brotherly Grub to run longer and more robust. With the community's assistance, we will need to put a wrap for the truck to showcase the name our team has been able to grow with a cost of 4.2K. This new opportunity, by having a food truck, allows me to continue to give jobs to students and the community needing jobs to sustain.
With your help, I can get my food truck up and running again. I can vend more and create opportunities for students and future entrepreneurs. The road to entrepreneurial success includes more obstacles for women.

We would like to take a moment to recognize and appreciate Chef Tanesha Trippett, who is the chef and owner of Brotherly Grub Cafe at Jacobs Northwest

Chef Tanesha was inspired by her family's recipes from Savannah, Georgia, and made the bold decision to pursue culinary science at the Art Institute of Philadelphia after working in finance for 15 years. Her motivation stems from the women in her family who were exceptional home cooks but faced discrimination in the South, which prevented them from pursuing culinary careers. Chef Tanesha's goal was to create a space for artists, musicians, and singers to showcase their talents with delicious southern-inspired food with a Philly flair. With the opening of Jacobs Northwest, her dream has become a reality.

As a proud member of Chef Tanesha is dedicated to empowering women in the hospitality industry. She is an unstoppable force, and we cannot wait to see what she has in store for the future!
