I loved the details of this home. Ship lap, barn doors and the live edge mantle on the fireplace. It was fun to photograph and create the 3D tour. It was evident that this home is well cared for. Be sure to check out the virtual tour!

It’s that time of year again! The offer still stands. Anybody who donates a Welcome Box for Foster Kids or even if you donate parts, I will give you $50 off a portrait session.

It’s Giveback Tuesday and I’ve decided to give it a twist and kind of melt all the retail days together. If you, out there, donate a jacket/sleeping bag/blankets to a homeless shelter I will give you $75 off a session. In addition to this, if you volunteer at a charity for 10 hours, I will give you 25% off a session. These discounts are for portrait sessions only. Event and Wedding Photography are excluded.

Hey...remember a couple of posts ago I talked about giving you guys $50 off a future session for donating a blanket, jacket, hats and gloves, tarp, sleeping bags for the homeless? Yeah, that still is a thing. I am going to add to that though. I found out that the gym I go to (yes, I work out....sometimes) is doing Welcome Boxes For Foster Kids. This is amazing and would love to help them out get more boxes than I can produce. Let me know if I can help you by delivering your box. Let's do this folks!

Welcome Boxes For Foster Kids is Back!
The notion of a Welcome Box is a simple one. While the child is waiting for a placement, a social worker gives the child a box of age appropriate items to occupy their time while in the office. It will also be a box they can carry and take with them into their new foster home. Since many children enter their new foster homes with very few belongings, the psychological importance of owning nice possessions cannot be underestimated. Making a Welcome Box is a simple way to comfort a foster child. It’s also a great way to involve your own family in caring for less fortunate kids in our neighborhood.

I've decided to combine Cyber Monday and Give Back Tuesday this year. From now until the 20th of December, if you donate a gently used blanket, tarp, stocking cap and gloves or brand new child's jacket, you will receive $50 off any future session. One time someone asked me why I liked black and white photos. Simply put, there are no distractions. All you're left with is the image and that is glorious. Case in point is my family session with this sweet family. Their little guy did great and I can't get enough.
