Central Stage presents two special events on the weekend of March 30 and 31.

On Saturday March 30, we are excited to welcome back Koorosh Ostowari with his play Grandma’s Million Dollar Scheme. Beautifully written, laughter, social justice and superb acting all in one!

On Sunday March 31, fill your hearts with the love of music as we embrace the beginning of the Spring with the Bay Area Persian Choir's Nowruz Concert, conducted by Naser Sheikhzadegan. If you haven't seen them perform, you are in for a treat! They will be performing traditional Persian music as well as new compositions and arrangements.

One of our good friends of Central Stage is organizing a free talk/seminar and has invited a professional on the subject of cyber security to lead the training. The purpose of this event is to get people especially us Iranians to learn more about cyber security and how to deal with and prevent unintended consequences in our everyday life. Very informative talk and free of charge.
This event is non political, non religious and for information only.

Golden Thread Productions and Aviva Arts are collaborating in response to the urgent call put out by ASHTAR Theatre to theater makers around the world to publicly read or perform The Gaza Monologues on November 29th, 2023, the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People - an annual observance aimed at educating the public about Palestine and supporting justice, equality, and freedom for the Palestinian people.
The Gaza Monologues are testimonies written by Gazan youth in 2010, after the first war on the Gaza Strip. Tragically, these monologues are still accurate today. They highlight the horrors, hopes, and resilience of the courageous Gazans, lifting up the voices of children and people in Gaza.
Golden Thread and Aviva Arts' reading of The Gaza Monologues will be presented in English and in Arabic. Registration is free.
