Next week 12/2 Little Thistle will be closed. There will not be a Beers for Q***rs meet up on Tuesday Jan 2nd.

I have been at a loss for words since the horrific attack on our community this past weekend in Colorado Springs. My heart has felt so heavy and I have experienced every emotion from extreme sadness and fear to anger. However, I know our community is resilient and strong, and beautiful. Together we will help each other through this and continue to fight for change. We are stronger together!
With that being said, Beers for Q***rs will be happening tonight at Little Thistle Brewing from 7-9PM. Please stop by if you'd like. I'll be giving out free hugs to anybody who would like one 🤗
Also, if going to an openly q***r event is not something you are comfortable with right now, I understand and that's okay. We meet every Tuesday and will be there when you are ready!

Heyy All! Little Thistle is getting a group together to help pick up some trash along and maintain a section of The Douglas Trail this coming Saturday April 23rd. This is not only a great way to give back to the Rochester community as a whole, but also to help out Little Thistle, without whom Beers for Q***rs would not be possible. One of B4Qs regular attendees, Josh Neis, will be there and has offered to spear head a group of us q***rs if any of you would like to join! Looks like meeting up at Little Thistle at 9AM and there will be some free beer involved for the volunteers! Sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me! 😁

We're super excited to kick off another season of maintaining a stretch of the Douglas Trail this Saturday!

Join us at 9AM, April 23rd to pick up this winter's garbage that's made it's home along the trail. We'll meet at the brewery to grab bags, our nifty nabbers, and pick our trail sections. We'll meet back at the brewery at 11 to get you fine folks a couple of free pints and a Thistle Do Gooder t-shirt!

Fingers crossed the forecast changes. If Saturday is washed out, we'll see you in May!

Good evening everyone, With the recent uptick in COVID-19 cases and the positivity rate being nearly 30% in Olmstead county. We have decided that it would be best for the safety of everyone to postpone Beers for Q***rs till the beginning of Febuary. We will release an update when it gets closer to see if it is safe to start Beers for Q***rs again. Please continue to wear your masks, use good hand hygiene, and just stay safe in these difficult times.

Beers 4 Q***rs is back starting next week (Tuesday the 21st)!

After talking with many (MANY) members of the community, the staff at Little Thistle, and some of my trusted mentors, I've decided to start hosting B4Q every Tuesday again. The community spread is still high in Olmsted County, and that scares me a bit, but I know the q***r community is made up of mostly progressive and intelligent members who are vaccinated and regularly mask up when out in public.

I want to reiterate that being vaccinated is mandatory for coming to the Q***r Agenda's events. I don't have the ability to force you to prove it, but know that if you aren't vaccinated then you are not welcome here. Don't waste anyone's time, and don't risk anyone's life. I have told people before that they are not welcome for a variety of reasons, and I will include not being vaccinated as one of them if I need to.

Please wear a mask inside of Little Thistle when ordering drinks, then come sit outside with us. We'll have the flags up, and I'm looking at having a proper sign made too! I will have nametags for our first names and pronouns as per usual.

We will be seated outside until it becomes too cold to do so (though Little Thistle has fabulous heaters on their deck), and then based on the community spread we will move inside.

If you are not comfortable coming out (of the closet or to an event during the pandemic), know that we respect you either way.
