We are rolling in 2024 and we are playing catchup! We are getting to see friends that we have not seen for years. Our special musical guest on Saturday, March 23, will be our dear friend… Tret Fure ( tretfure.com ). Tret has played Creek House and we have long looked forward to her return! A world class singer/songwriter and guitarist….she delivers from the heart. If you have not seen her perform…here is your chance to hear her in what has been described as the “Carnegie Hall of House Concerts” here at Creek House. We will be asking for a modest cash donation per person at the door to help keep this concert series going and to pay these artists for their artistry. People ask….and I ponder it often. How do you choose who plays at Creek House? The answer at first is fairly simple….I have to be moved by their work and they have had to be doing it a long, long time…long enough to put together a legacy body of work. Plus….as a musician myself, I want to be able to learn something from them…..and…. I look for people that don’t play other places here in the Twin Cities. That said….I will have more specifics soon….I have just agreed to host a show this late winter for one of the premier harpists in the world….who will be coming in from the Shetland Islands. She is also one of the most eloquent story tellers on this beautiful planet. EXCITED….stay tuned!❤️

In partnership with The Minnesota Bluegrass and OldTime Music Association....we are most pleased to have the International Bluegrass Music Association's 2023 Songwriter of The Year....Tim Stafford.... join us for a night of musical magic. Tim, a Grammy winner, is also a member of the acclaimed group Blue Highway. He is a co-author of the Tony Rice biography, "Still Inside". Tom Peschges, will open for Tim.
