Celebrate Thanksgiving at the club! We have a spectacular buffet in the works with carved turkey, ham, traditional sides and assorted desserts. We have 2 seatings available: 11AM, 11:30AM. The 2PM and 2:30PM seatings are SOLD OUT. Reservations are required. Adults $47++, kids 6-12 $20++, and kids 5 and under are free.

The annual Isla Special Operations Warrior Foundation Charity Event has been a major part of the Isla calendar for the past 13 years raising over $2 million to support surviving family members of fallen Special Operations Warriors.

For the first time, this year’s SOWF event is not limited to golf. An outdoor country music concert Country for Country will be an exciting new addition to SOWF at Isla offering all Isla Members, their families, and guests an opportunity to participate and support this wonderful organization. This patriotic themed concert will star the iconic Greg Billings and his band that have been filling venues in the Southeast for 25 years!

The Toys for Kids Toy Drive has begun! Our Donation Drive runs from Tuesday, November 5th through Thursday, December 19th. You may drop off NEW, unwrapped gifts in the Executive Offices, Club Lobby, Captain's Lounge, and Racquet Center in the Donation Bins wrapped in holiday paper!

We will once again be assisting the Lealman fire districts with their efforts in helping needy families in the community by donating to Toys for Kids! Please do not wrap the gifts. Our local firemen will personally wrap the gifts and delivery them. We are looking for gifts ages Newborn to 17 years old.

Newborn Toys, Baby Dolls, Arts & Crafts, Legos,

The last 13 years have been spent here with us at Isla Del Sol, and we are are immensely grateful for her warmth, commitment, and the lasting connections she’s fostered within our club. After serving in the military, Chef Dan trained at the New York Restaurant School. He has worked in prestigious restaurants and hotels across the country, including New York City, the Hamptons, Montauk, California, and Vermont. He also has extensive experience in the club industry, having served as Chef de Partie at the Colony Club in Manhattan for 12 years.

Chef Dan joined Isla in 2019 as Sous Chef with a focus on catering events. Through his contributions, Isla has won 9 awards from WeddingWire, The Knot, and Zola – each citing high marks for the cuisine.

Chef Dan's culinary style is rooted in classic French techniques, with a contemporary American twist. He is committed to using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients to create fresh and flavorful dishes.

Since taking on the role of Executive Chef six weeks ago, Chef Dan has elevated the dining experience at Isla Del Sol. We have transitioned to a quarterly menu revision cycle tied to the seasons, allowing Chef Dan to highlight seasonal dishes while retaining our best-selling classic dishes and salads. Additionally, Chef Dan has introduced Small Plates, tapas-sized portions with innovative cooking techniques that showcase fresh ingredients and creative presentations. These items are are available in the Grille Room and the Bayside Grille.

These are exciting times in the world of Food & Beverage at Isla Del Sol, and we invite you to come experience the difference for yourself.

The board has put together a program to raise funds for the benefit of our employees who have been significantly impacted by Hurricanes Helene and/or Milton. It is not clear what the exact needs are, but we know that many employees are living in short term housing and are struggling. At the same time, they have responded to the Club's extraordinary needs as we try to recover.

We ask that each member consider making a gift by check made out to Isla Del Sol Yacht & Country Club, with a note designating the funds to go towards the Isla Employee Relief Fund. Please drop checks off at the Front Desk. You may also donate through your member account. Please contact our Controller, Jesse Carr, at [email protected] to make arrangements.

We are excited to announce that the golf course is open!!! The Pro Shop is open today to take your reservations at 727-864-2417, or you can easily book your tee times through the Isla Del Sol app.

Please note that while we continue to clean up after the hurricanes, there are still a few trees down on the course. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to fully restore the course.

A huge thank you goes out to our incredible Greens Crew and Pro Shop staff for all their hard work and dedication during the recovery process. We look forward to seeing you back on the course!
