REO Speedwagon/Richard Marx - November 14, 1987 - "Life as We Know It" Tour. REO Speedwagon made their third appearance at the Bicentennial Center that night! Richard Marx was fresh to the music scene, having released his debut album earlier that same year. Prior to this show, he appeared at the Salina Central Mall, which had just opened earlier that year, for a meet and greet autograph signing.

September 17, 2022.. Country star Kip Moore performs an acoustic set in the arena concourse moments after a severe thunderstorm knocked the building’s power out just moments before his set was scheduled to begin. With only minimal lighting, Moore performed sending concert goers home happy. A memorable night for sure.
