Bianca's Urban Dance Academy, "BUDA" for short, is a hip hop/street style dance academy located in San Anselmo. Students learn various dance styles and techniques such as hip hop, waving, krump, popping, robot, choreography, and freestyle. The main goal of BUDA is to build confidence through dance and help students find their own individuality through movement. They have been working super hard this semester and are so excited to show you their moves!

The "bioswales" recently installed at the newly renovated Marin Center parking lot are working as designed. Rain runoff from the parking lot is directed to the bioswales, where pollutants are naturally filtered out by plants and soil before the stormwater seeps back into the ground. If water levels in the bioswales gets too high from intense periods of rain, overflow drains will prevent localized flooding from occurring.

Low-impact design elements like this ensure that new paved areas drain properly while reducing pollution to nearby waterways and helping to recharge groundwater supplies.

Welcome to Camp Gray Pine, where campers spend the summer soaking up nature, making friends and, as of this year, fighting the supernatural. When one of the campers, Woolf, is bitten under the light of the full moon, mayhem ensues. Is she faking it? Or are things actually getting hairier by the day? The campers must wrestle with the question, when is being different a gift and when is it a curse? What’s more, something strange and more than a little sinister is afoot with a growing number of the other campers... "I Will Not Be Forgotten: The Dignity in Homelessness" opens today at the Marin Civic Center’s 1st and 3rd Floor Galleries.

This powerful exhibit by San Rafael photographer Lea Del Pomo features 50 photographs capturing life on the streets, newly housed individuals, and the work of local outreach agencies. Each image is accompanied by personal stories from those portrayed, offering a glimpse into their lives and resilience.
