Happy National Rainbow Baby Day! This day has very special meaning to me and my family after we were blessed with our rainbow in 2016, after a miscarriage in 2013.

Why an empty bucket?

As a newborn photographer I constantly share photos of newborn babies with all of you, but today I will share this empty bucket. The empty bucket symbolizes not only the emptiness women who experience Infertility often feel, but it is also a symbol of hope for all those families praying for their miracle baby.

April 24-30th is National Infertility Awareness Week.

Did you know that....
- 1 in 8 women struggle with Infertility
- 1 in 4 women have had a loss
- 1 in 160 pregnancies are affected by stillbirth

This month I am joining with other newborn photographers as we all share our empty buckets in honor of you. The acronym PAIL also stands for Pregnancy After Infertility or Loss. I know some of my clients, family and friends have or are currently struggling with Infertility or Loss. Please share. Spread Awareness. Share your stories or encouragement below. Even just a simple or below to let others know they are not alone. I am thinking and praying for those awaiting to fill this bucket. Your day is coming, and when it does, I will be here celebrate with you! 🌈 We don't know everyone's struggles. Be kind!
